Terrible alternative to Uber, with less transparency. Needed an early morning transfer from an AirBNB in Milan to Milan Central Station. Scheduling a taxi does not reserve one, only schedules the time to start the search. On that note; the search for a taxi happens on the time requested for pickup not prior, which isn’t much use. No taxis available or accepted the ride regardless of the app saying available taxis are just “3 minutes” away. Completely unreliable and lacks transparency of cars available/location etc like Uber. As such, Uber saved the day for a last minute pickup to get our transfer for our flight.

Got this for a holiday in Rome and called a cab. This was paid for immediately. After await wetaxi could not get a taxi and cancelled. We hailed a passing taxi by the hotel at the top of the Spanish Step. Paid on the meter and was €3 cheaper. In fairness to wetaxi the refund was back in my bank before we got back to our hotel. So not a reliable service and more expensive. We used the hotel for the taxi back to the airport.

Only used it once when I was in Milan, was sceptical about it as I needed to get to the airport early in the morning and had never heard of Wetaxi before. I scheduled a ride the night before, was given a cheaper flat rate to Malpensa airport than others I’d tried. It worried me that they said they would look for a booking a few minutes before our scheduled time but it worked! Although, when the driver went to put in the fee at the end of the drive on his app, I was confused, thinking I’d be charged again however I wasn’t!

When you pre-order a a taxi with this app the drivers now like to arrive well ahead of time, but their Taxameter is already running since they accepted the ride. This applies especially to short rides. Rides with fixed fare, like to Rome airports, they are late or do not show up at all ! Happened to me a few times now. The so called guaranteed maximum prices the app offers are heavily too expensive usually. That’s why the drivers like to arrive early and cash in while doing nothing/waiting. Every international tourist would expect the Taxameter to start running when passenger enters the car not when driver accepts the ride a few kilometers away. This app sets adverse incentives which are not in passengers interest.

The worst booking service that I ever used all over the world. No confirmation, taxi never arrive specially in pick time.

Very handy. Worked just as described, and most conveniently I could pay by cash, which was especially useful as I was visiting Rome as a carer supporting an individual and had no debit or credit card. Only downside is that you only get the guaranteed fare before the journey if you’re paying by card.

App does not alert you to not being available ii. Your city til too late. not working in Palermo . Only discovered when I was about to order. The feedback / contact us form does not work so you can’t contact them. Does not inspire confidence as a future potential client. The idea is good, execution for first time user rather poor.

Don’t be deceived of previous negative ratings. If you are in doubt just call “radiotaxi” in the city you are in and CLARIFY your booking/schedule . We've scheduled a ride the day before for a 7+ seats car — we’ve called radio taxi the evening before and they told us the app will notify us 5min. before scheduled tome IF they can find a 7seats car. If they can’t, we need to request again 2 cars (which will only cost us an additional €3.00 extra per car) which they will arrive within max5-10min. We dint’t have to do that because the app shown as “ride accepted” 5min before scheduled time. Everything went spon-on! No issues at all. Recommended!!! ONE negative though... the app should have a link to CALL Radiotaxi in the city yo are located. The app support isn’t instant and if you require immediate answers yo won’t get them...(i had to search on google for 10-15min to figure out how to contact them...). This is a rather inconveniencing matter that will need to be addressed ASAP. Apart from that everything went as it supposed to.. - thanks

App is easy to use and addresses are autocompleted so no hassle. Driver located swiftly and arrived within less than 2 mins after confirmation.! Fantastic car, clean and friendly driver who got us to destination with minimal fuss and smooth driving . Keep up the good work!

sconsiglio vivamente l’utilizzo e specialmente la prenotazione ad orario specifico. a fronte di una conferma del l’app della corsa, la centrale non riceve la richiesta e quindi il taxi non arriva. esperienza negativa su 3 corse su 3 utilizzate, con rischio di perdita di treno successivo. ho utilizzato app di taxi in tutto il mondo e non ho mai riscontrato un disservizio e una disfunzionalità come questa app. consiglio vivamente di evitarla e di chiamare la centrale, unico modo per avere garanzia della prenotazione
