Pretty disappointed - you upload your receipts on the app, then they generate a QR code for you to scan at Eurostar, but it didn’t scan for me…

Too slow
Verification in App took too long & so I got no VAT back, so frustrating! If I hadn’t tried to be smart & used the App I would have received all my VAT back going through Gare Du Nord, instead with the App, nothing!
Very convenient and efficient
I went to paris for a short trip from London and used the app for tax refund. It was very convenient and quick! Really enjoyed using the app :)
Tedious and not worth the effort
Not only is this limited to just france, but you dont really gain that much money back. In fact, this is actually more inconvenient as you have to explain to every store you need a facture (most stores dont do this btw and although within french law, do you really want to be the person holding up the queue), wait for them to generate it for you and you have to go through the same airport process anyway. Additionally, they highlight vatcat france, date and refund % (in bold as well) as crucial but fail to note company stamp! Just lost €100 because of this . Never again.
