Winix Smart Reviews

App isn’t great

Silly filter on

United States

Filter sensing doesn’t work. Have replaced filter twice and no way that I can easily find to reset the filter warning. If it’s there make it easier to find.

Cannot login to app

sonicstacey77 on

United States

I have set up a new account, but every time I try to login in the app it tells me my password is incorrect. I have now changed it 5 times and I am not typing it in wrong. I don’t understand what could be wrong.

Never actually opens

future cadavre on

United States

It worked great and set up was easy. Then I updated and the splash page with its little loading logo just spins and spins. Want to control it from afar? Nope. Want to troubleshoot why the scheduled on/off modes aren’t working? Too bad. Cool.

Does not work

k1down on

Air purifiers fine, but app doesnt work. I have been waiting for the update that never came, so I offer this review instead

Good purifier terrible app

Flashflashflash on

United States

Really the purifiers are outstanding, which makes this tragic app all the more tragic. Truly user hostile. Just try to enjoy the Alexa integration - great example of poor execution. If the Alexa integration were even up to the level of satisfactory, I’d be pleased… I also own another air purifier, which is much worse but with a much better app. Please Winix - do better.

Don’t buy for the Wi-Fi feature

Worldbuyer on

United States

If you’re buying for the filter it’s fine. I wanted for the wi-fi/ Alexa option. Software is total garbage, glitch city, connection issues, etc. over an hour for what should have been 5 min.

Never buying Winix products again due to bad software

This app is more like a scam website

So far having a good experience with, havnt had any issues. i only wish that it gave more info on what it is actually filtering or catching to show how beneficial and in regards to what, meaning how we are benefiting from purified air and the main difference from outside. just would give a big piece of mind not to mention justifying got our monies worth and them some!
