It does what it says on the tin…
…and, a tip? Check your other browser extensions. Because not once has Wipr been the culprit of a “broken” site. I don’t have to worry about browsing WITHOUT other extensions — it’s my “stock experience” when it’s the only thing running, and that experience? Is one NOT laden with garbage. Wipr is the actual set-and-forget/lightweight/reliable blocker around here. 100% would recommend for the actual, “as indicated in the description” purpose. This isn’t an app that purports to nuke your browser of everything, but to give it a cleaner experience. It really “does what it says on the tin”. And it says so (again) in-app. As well as on the dev’s site — in the open, NOT hidden in TCs & Cs AFTER you’ve purchased it — it’s all right there, in the links provided. Unfortunately, that is something that’s uncommon on the App Store nowadays. Transparency and an actually *good* product.
