• Pronounce and spell-check any word, number or sentence
• Natural Sounding Voice - three American voices, one British voice, and one Australian voice
• Letter sound (phonic) or name when a letter is touched in the alphabet
• Alphabetic or QWERTY layout, letters, numbers, consonant digraphs (like “th”) and vowels digraphs (like “oo”)
• Uppercase or lowercase letters
• Keyboard emulation option
• 4 letter sizes available (allowing for more or fewer letters on the board)
• Customized word pronunciation, if necessary
• Accessibility: external keyboard support and 4 high contrast modes available

Fun Spelling Activities
_______
3 spelling activities of increasing difficulty are provided to adapt the activity to the child’s spelling level. You can use the built-in word lists or create your own.
1 - "Word Practice" says and displays the word to spell, and asks the child to spell it using the talking movable alphabet
2 - "Scrambled Letters" says the word and displays the letters needed to build the word or sentence, and asks the child to reorder the letters.
3 - “Spelling Quizzes” is a standard spelling test. The app won’t move onto the next word until the child has correctly spelled the word, helping them to remember its correct spelling.
• 200 built-in word lists: Words for beginners, Dolch Words, 1,000 most frequently used words, body parts and more
• Create custom Word Lists by entering your own words and sentences
• Import and export Word Lists you’ve created
• Hints are available should kids not know how to spell a word
• Colorful animations are displayed when a word is completed
• Once a quiz is completed, interactive animations are available as a reward

Great app
This is a really good app to help kids learn to read. My only recommendation to the developers is that there needs to be a button to go back to the main menu in a prominent position. Having to go into the settings menu to find it lets my kids change all the settings which is annoying.
Brilliant App
Word Wizard is an amazing app for your child. A must on your child's iPad
My granddaughter, showed no interest in this game, she found it to be very boring.....
My grand daughter found this app to be very boring, she quickly lost interest in it, and stated, Grandmama, this is not fun to do.
Love this App!
So easy to use and is really helpful when helping students to explore spelling of words. Would highly recommend to anyone who has trouble getting students to sound out words.
Australian voice
I'm having trouble with the word "am" in the Australian voice, even after I've added the pronunciation suggestion. It says 'A' - 'M'. Is there a fix? Has potential.

Wonderful app but
Wonderful app but can you make the letter 'U' say 'u' as in up not 'uh'.. It gets confusing for the Aussie kids
Excellent app, LOVE the Aussie voice!
Word Wizard is a fantastic app for practising sentence making, spelling and spelling tests. We use it often for practising spelling and having fun making words and sentences. The visual reward at the end of an activity is especially appealing to kids who are visually oriented. I love the option that prevents kids from making swear words. But most of all I LOVE the new AUSSIE ACCENT!!!! One of our favourite educational apps just got better. I highly recommend it. Congratulations L'Escapardou!!
Happy Mum
This is a great app, my son has ASD and uses the movable alphabet to write his sentences in class. Having the phonics turned on really helps him by giving him one less thing to process on his own. Some of the phonics could be better eg when you type 'th' the voice dosen't give the blended sound but says t h this can be a little confusing for him. Would also like to save his sentences and print off (other than screen shot). Otherwise a very valuable app to have!
