OK for US not for English as a second language in EU
I am happy I can add my own lists with the word my child has to learn at school. 2 drawbacks, word wizard is unable to handle British spelling which most European schools teach children. So both the pronunciation of tomato would differ if you are a Brit or American child and thus the way the child perceives a word to be correct. Same is valid for spelling such as "marvelous or marvellous" depending on the country. This meant my child had to learn it spell right according to school but with an odd pronunciation. More over app is unable to help the child with diphthongs. So ou will be pronounced as oh-you instead of an oww sound. The diphthong is pronounced rightly when the whole word is written.
