The app said I would get 1 week trial. I just went to unsubscribe the same day I clicked free tria and wasn’t able to. I’m locked in at 39.99 for a year.
It is our go to for all the time we spend at the gym. We pre-plan our workouts in advance with it. Right now we are doing an 8 week program built by the app. Better than any others if looked at.
I found out about this app on Pinterest and downloaded it assuming that there would be a base level of free content. There is not. Further reading of reviews reveals really disappointing responses from the developer. Despite their claims, they are not advertising the site/app as “free to try” but as “Create, print and share custom illustrated workouts, FREE at WorkoutLabs.com”. No mention of “free to try”. Additionally, other reviewers have expressed their disappointment in the way workouts are titled as they can be triggering or seemingly supportive of less than healthy views on dieting/working out and the developer essentially said “Meh I don’t think so, you should try our body shaming named arm workout. ;)”. @developers don’t bother responding to this critical review with what will inevitably be another disappointing response that shows an inability to accept criticism, I’ve deleted your app and won’t be trying your workouts.
I love that it gives you pre-made workouts and times intervals for you! I’ve been looking for something like this for a while and this one isn’t too much per month 😮💨
Also charged me for a year before my 7 day free trail was up. Now stuck with an app that wasn't what I was looking for but didn't see the lack of machine workouts until I tried it.
I found this app through Pinterest. I was so excited to download the app and was even ready to pay the lifetime membership. The workouts, the printability, the pictures. It all seemed very doable and exactly what I need. But then I was browsing and I saw titles for workouts like “post-binge guilt eraser workout pack”, “beer belly abolisher”, and “bingo wing bye bye”. These names are so insulting and triggering for people with eating disorders, alcoholism, or anyone who struggles with their relationship to food and alcohol. It will also contribute to negative body image. I would be back if the marketing becomes more considerate but until then I will be looking elsewhere.
The app changed from the perfect work out app to a womens only app and now i cant log in?!?!!?
As a personal trainer, this App is exactly what you need if you are just starting out or have years of experience. The exercises are well explained & the pictures help as well. Only one thing I would like to see is warm up & cool downs that are directly related to the workout being done. The warm ups/cool downs seem a little too generic. I recommend this app to all my friends!!
Requires payment after very limited number of workouts used.
