Great game

So glad it’s available on ios. Best tactical game going

I thought it would work but didn’t

I played tge first gamed loved it cant play the second

Can be frustrating ….these tips may help.

I have been a big fan of the XCOM games but really struggled with this one. Firstly the world UI is awful, I mean terrible! So it will take you some time to work out how to optimise building facilities and accelerating their function because they mainly rely on engineers available and slots for them to work. Even now I am not sure what some of the upgrades have done for resistance network facility. The other problem is the battles. I was getting pwned after the first 3 mission or so. In the end I got a tip from a forum. Grenades! They are literally the best thing you can use, guaranteed damage, but more importantly destroy cover, so your squad has better chances of hits. This was the game changer for me. After this my next tip, ignore the ‘recommended’ research and build trees. I built a guerrilla tactics school early to get improved squad sizes, and also I prioritised weapons and armour research over other ‘recommend’ research. Having figured all this out, the game became fun. Prior to this it was worse than going to work!!

Good game, but with iPhone 14 Pro and iOS 16 on the way, can you please update it to support them? Thank you!

Really enjoyed this - plays and looks amazing.

Crashing without playing the actual game

Extremely disappointed that it clearly stated it works for an Iphone 12 Pro max, yet have not got further than the starting game cut scenes, which is a joke considering it costs £18.00.. Wouldn’t recommend if using the game on an iphone, should clearly state that it is not capable for Iphone use. Seeing alot of complaints on the game regarding the amount of overheating etc, had a similar issue with Xcom : enemy within regarding that. This however was unable to play entirely!

Fantastic

A fantastic sequel to XCOM Enemy Within. Thrilling, compelling and addictive. The only downside I found is a somewhat anticlimactic ending, but nonetheless this is a superb game with amazing characters as well as a great plot; I highly recommend this game.

Maybe not for iPad mini 5 owners

A brilliant game but I’m now nearing the end and it has started regularly crashing which is making progress slow. If you own a mini5 like me, it might be best to stick to XCOM:enemy within which runs just fine!

Xoom 2 collection

Fantastic, superb, excellent in all respects. This is must have game.

Amazing for IOS

I just want to start this by saying it’s not going to be as good as it is on PC or even console but I think XCOM 2 can be considered a AAA game and the fact that it’s imported into IOS at all is impressive. There’s a few bugs here and there and the graphics is a little scaled down but still enough here to keep you entertained.
