Not user friendly
Can’t give customised access for different departments. Eg customised access for sales, for accounts, management etc
Can’t generate pdf file directly from app because sometimes we wish to send directly to the client via other apps (eg WhatsApp) beside email.
Can’t generate individual reports based on customer. Eg what is their past year sales and what items.
Cannot launch on Apple despite update
I can’t launch Xero on my Apple. I’ve updated and restarted my phone but it still cannot launch after login. So much for taking your business on the go.
Double billed
Do NOT buy this on the Apple store, as the app is pretty useless. If you must use Xero, subscribe to it on desktop and not mobile. The app is extremely limited in functionality and if you happened to subscribe twice (as I did, forcibly because of their insistence that I resume an old subscription just because I was using the same email address - but this was after they took my money for a new one on the Apple store) they don’t refund you the duplicated amount. Go figure how they do this reconciliation for an accounting software company.

Very very easy to use
Loving this app, cuts out the need for a lot of paperwork and gives the overview of sales and expenses. Also very easy to send invoices via PDF - wish it were the same for quotes since that is a big driver of sales.
Missing a couple of small features
For a mobile app it’s pretty good. I can mark single invoices paid and so on. It’s missing a couple of features that’d be really handy. 1. Totals of outstanding amounts by clients. 2. Ability to mark multiple invoices paid in one go. This isn’t a replacement for the web version and I don’t think of it as such. It gives me the basic stuff I need to see where I’m at. If you want more detailed info best to login on desktop and use that.
Mediocre app capabilities
This is a financial platform which has tons of data and analytics which can be generated on the online platform. But when it comes to this app it is extremely limiting. Profit and lost, balance sheets, all important financial information is not displayed on this app. Very lacking in features and information on the company. Can significantly improve on this, as we are in the instantaneous now society.
