In this kingdom management RPG, petitioners will arrive in the throne room each turn to ask for your advice and assistance. Decide whether to help them with their problems, or to conserve resources for more important matters. Remember: supplies are limited, and not everyone has the kingdom’s best interests at heart...

Yes, Your Grace tells a tale of Davern, a medieval kingdom ruled by King Eryk. The game is set in a fictional world where monsters and arcane practices inspired by Slavic folklore are the order of the day. Villagers will ask for your help with various problems, from monsters attacking the village to a lack of places to relax and enjoy themselves. Some will bring humour to your throne room and some will present you with difficult choices. Your family is important too, and throughout your time as King, you will have to support them in their struggles.

You will face lords with a variety of personalities; you will need their support in order to win an upcoming battle, but some may ask you to perform dirty deeds to cement the alliance. One thing is clear: It won’t be easy to keep everyone happy...

Listen to petitioners each turn and decide who needs your support.

Aid your family with their personal problems and decide upon their fate.

Hire Generals, Witches and Hunters to aid your efforts.

Prepare for battle and make alliances by satisfying the whims of lords and kings.

Follow the stories of the quirky and determined characters that visit your halls.

I mostly enjoy this game…I do not like that the King cannot have one of his daughters as his heir. Pretty limiting & gives the age old idea that girls aren’t good enough;P Also I do not like that you are locked into basically selling your eldest(13 yrs old!) daughter into marriage. This followed by not being able to prevent the poisoning at the wedding. 
I love the challenge of trying to pick the best path with the choices we make, but we are automatically locked into a pretty dark path by no choice we make. It limits the game by a lot! This says nothing about the desperate bid to do a super risky ritual to attain a male heir…there is a lot that could have been done to make this game stellar but after playing one pass thru & finding some seriously important choices taken from me, I dunno if I will continue playing.

It fails to deliver on its key principle of making choices that really impact the story.

The story outcomes are too limited, especially with the family interactions. They either die or end up in a single situation. I was hoping for actual variation in the outcome and story, like pick your path mystery/adventure novels. The same is true of the combat. There is a little more variation with the lesser lords, but it doesn’t affect the larger story.

The atmosphere of the game fits with the medieval Slavic theme really well, but the dialogue is more modern and doesn’t fit the context as well. It has a lot of game cliches about the medieval world - you can generally guess who/what is good and bad based on surface level modern sensibilities (the church is evil, earth magic is good, execution is bad, arranged marriage always goes badly, etc.). If you change your choices, none of these elements actually change, you just become either a good or bad person according to modern sensibilities rather than those of a Slavic Medieval world. 

I guess I just hoped for more from the game. On the plus the art style is enjoyable.

This game looked promising but considering you can't trade gold for supplies it makes it near impossible to feees you army. Plus doesn't seem like you ever have enough supplies. Gold is easy to come by but supplies not so much. I have beaten the game and it's not worth the 4.99 plus tax to me.

I don’t normally replay games but I was so upset that I didn’t make it to the end of the story the first time that I restarted it with the hindsight of how actions would affect my outcome. I still barely made it, with a lot of sacrifices along the way.
You will not get serotonin from playing this, but the reward comes from actually surviving such a brutal story where nothing goes your way.
Glad I gave this game a chance. It’s worth the price point if not more, and will keep you engaged for a good couple of hours.

Other than making it “free” in the beginning and then trying to get someone to pay for the game after a trial, it was good. Maybe it was a good idea but I liked the game and I might be feeling some type of way you didn’t let me finish the wedding. 4/5..

It’s a good game. I love the concept. I love the interaction. But it’s too short. I understand the original design was to be and in the story, but the story should continue. A one year storyline is a little lackluster for the five dollar payment, especially when the game can be completed in less than 24 hours. You should add more to the story. More development. More weeks. More storyline. Also the progression is a little weird. All of a sudden, your first peasant asking for 1G to 30G? Like the economy didn’t even build that fast…. 

Or perhaps a spinoff version of this game, which has a some more strategic implementation, and direct interactions? Overall, good game just needs more to it

I downloaded this game about a year ago, bought the story and deleted the game, I play on apple, and to reinstall the game I had to buy it again? Like whaaaaaaaa why, that’s so bad, I love this game I don’t mind spending the money but it should’ve told me that it was going to do that before I reinstall it.
