Heaps better than the iHail app!!! Very responsive, and the app doesn’t suddenly die like iHail does all the time. Only two complaints are: 1. I can’t book ahead of time, and 2. Drivers at the airport do not know what their unique ID is. So every time I get a cab from the airport queue, I have to do it the manual way.
My employer has given me a TaxiCharge voucher card to use for two trips but the app won’t accept the 6 digit voucher card number to add it to the app for payment so Im not sure how this is meant to be useful. I would like to book a taxi prior to the day of my flight but this is still not possible? The taxi firm has a website that allows me to prebook a taxi so it seems this app is designed for someone to hail a cab at the time they need it only. Booking a cab seems like a basic feature. Work to do team.
Tried to book a taxi in advance, only option after entering pickup and destination is “Confirm” so did this assuming there would be another option to select a “ready now” or set a future time, but instead it went straight to “contacting drivers” and charged my credit card. Cancelled ride. Awaiting refund. Won’t use again unless there is an ability to book in advance.
The location of the taxi is very slow You can’t message the driver
I have a phone number which is a NZ number but one of the newer ones starting with 0204, total of 11 digits. The app doesn’t allow this, it restricts to 9 digits with the leading 0 dropped (which would be a 10 digit phone number with the 0 included) so I was unable to setup and use last night. The app should allow 11 digit numbers, as they’ve been around for a few years now and are becoming more common.
Totally useless if you are visually impaired. Too small to read. Difficult to work out how to orebook and pay cash to driver. Totally useless!!!
Taxi driver checked two airport pickups on his machine (we did not come from an airport) which started the meter at $10. When confronted, he stuttered and stumbled and said we wouldn’t be charged for it and that it was so he showed as unavailable (what bs, we were charged). Then the app would let me rate him but showed I had given him 5 star?? Will not be using in future
Buggy and have had the instance now where multiple drivers have turned out to pick me up, what a disappointing application, the old blue bubble app allowed you to put in a pick up time this one does not.
I need to book a taxi for a future set time.
Does not give option to proceed to booking without setting card payment
