Good functionality, I like it (you do need Premium to use it properly), but one significant issue: The app constantly forgets Now playing and queued music. It means I have to open app and choose something to play multiple times per day - it never works to just press play and resume music as in apple Music or Bandcamp apps (where queue stays saved indefinitely).
I really like the app and it’s honestly pretty smooth, works well with recognizing what songs I like on YT and add them to YT-Music. Since the update they made it more expensive tho, I’m considering getting Spotify instead… the price is almost not worth~
It has what you need, but at least on ios i have enconterd a few bug and the ai recomendations are not that great, about on part with spotify.

The algoritm recommends no (ZERO) new releases of the artists I’m following. New releases of the artists NEVER shows up in NEW RELEASES menu. Pretty useless to click follow artist if you don’t have unlimited time to MANUALLY check all artist pages individually in LIBRARY. YouTube music has focus on the top mainstream artists only. The only way to find new music related to the artists I’m following is to google search and use other music services with higher algorithm standard. YouTube music premium is not cheap so I’m very disappointed. Doesn’t help if you activate personal recommendations. And according to the YouTube music developer site there is non focus on recommendations. Audio quality and video quality is pretty much the same for premium vs non sunscriber. No hi res lossless audio and no equaliser. Apple music audio quailty is lightyears ahead of YouTube music audio quality development.

Jag har använt YouTube music i ungefär 4-5 år nu och jag tycker att den är jättebra.
Bytte från Spotify i 6 månader och har nog aldrig känt mig så oinspirerad till att lyssna på musik. Dåliga rekommendationer, sökningar visar värdelösa spellistor med videoversioner av låtar såsom från konserter. Spellistor kan inte minnas om du vill shufflat så varje gång du startar en spellista så är det samma låt som spelas. Shufflandet är inte ens slumpmässigt och gäller inte alla låtar i spellistan. Undvik.
I love you tube music but the prices especially for family membership is without logic expensive
