ZSB Series

I’ve used this for a couple of years now. The printer is fantastic. The labels, whilst pricy, are environmentally friendly and work very nicely too. The problem is the software. The requirement to be logged in to an app, that often forgets who you are across Windows, macOS and iOS. You can’t have more than one account per “tenant”. There are so many problems that it’s a struggle to list them all here. I don’t mind having an app to monitor labels or similar but as other reviews have said. This should be AirPrint capable, and not be behind a software wall to print on a local network. This is a disastrous implementation of software for great hardware. A real shame.

One the most worst printer ever using for my business. I am not understanding why need to get so much information and need to register for just printing labels and why can not be air print to make easy. All about control and collecting data.

Takes forever and a million hoops to jump through just to get the content into the app and even then will refuse to scale properly leaving the content cropped. I give up. These printers were supposed to be easy to use, and even though I’m a technically minded, I want to throw them in the bin.

This app shows UPS labels, HOWEVER, UPS labels (UK) do not fit and the app does not allow you to resize the crop for the label so it all fits. The printer should be AirPrint which would make getting up and running so much easier and printing a simple shipping label. If zebra would simply listen to and address the feedback, they could have a solution that everyone is raving about.

But it won’t resize 4x6 Etsy labels to a 4x6 label. The auto fit just makes it small.

The app and the network connection are truly awful, at least when being on OSX! With every single update of this dreadful printer and app, the network connection is lost and requires at least 1/2 day time invest to get this price of xxx running again! This is the most frustrating purchase I made in a very long time. The apps and drivers are conflicting each other and that there is no native airprint integration in 2023 is bizarre!! So is that a app needs to be installed on a phone and yet it’s impossible to print from the phone! This is a pure joke! Shame, that is £200 wasted!!

Won’t connect to Bluetooth

This app could be great but the I terrace is so poor. Yes you can download templates from the store, can you edit them though? Nope. Just what I need a name tag template that you can’t change the name on! 🤦‍♂️ Please invest a bit of time into developing this further it’s so poor.

I haven’t been able to open this app for a couple of days now meaning I haven’t been able to print any shopping labels. At a busy time like this I need to be able to use this app, unfortunately ZSB does not have any other way to print the labels unless using the mobile app. Really disappointed.

The inability to do the simplest thing - namely RESIZE the crop box when printing from PDF makes using this app, and by extension the ZSB series printer, a ridiculously long-winded nightmare. I am horrified that this basic and essential feature still isn't part of the software package. This awfully deficient software ruins the experience of using the very decent ZSB hardware. Please, oh please, fix it.
