cancel instructions are endless loop
I had this app over five years ago and found out they are still charging me for it. I have tried cancelling many times and they always say it’s canceled but then I see a charge a year later. They will scam you.
There was a data breach and my username and password were compromised. I discovered through NordPass and never received a notification from this company or the app.
I’d give this 3.5 stars if I could. Or 4 for the workouts but 3.5 for the app itself. As far as exercise goes, it’s been really useful and helpful. I like being able to choose a 20 min workout or do 10 min of strength on lower body and then add another 10 min circuit of core, for example. The circuit/set workouts are straight to the point and no nonsense. I don’t use them for yoga at all. I tried a couple classes, and it was… odd? I used to teach yoga and have done serious yoga for years. I’m open to different styles, and I can do bare bones yoga with little instruction, because I know how to do yoga. That being said: the yoga classes I tried were VERY bare bones and I think would be difficult for beginners. The audio was also not great quality. But it’s fine. My biggest issue with this app is, possibly, I’ve been spoiled by apps like Glo, which have robust search features. I hate that on 8-fit, I can only scroll endlessly through one category and “heart” them. But there’s no east way to create lists or saved classes that I can go to directly (versus scrolling the entire category every time - what’s the point of favoriting if you can only see them in the full list?) And I wish the search feature was more robust. I’d like to search something like “bands,” “10 minutes,” and “arms.” As it stands now, I can only tap on the “bands” category and then scroll scroll scroll through all the bands classes each time. It’s also be great if you could make your own playlist. I do a ten minute lower body class, and then I have to stop, scroll scroll scroll again, find a core class I want to add, and then restart. I’d love to create a playlist where I can just add two or three classes to play one after another automatically so that I don’t have to stop and keep searching. TLDR; the workouts are great, the yoga is odd but ok. The app itself and the organization is super clunky, though.
I like this app but I paid for a month and there is no recipes. I was just wondering why. Or do I have to pay more for the recipes. Please let me know thank you
I’m starting off after a long time not exercising. This app starts off slowly and works up to whatever you are wanting.
Not going to lie, I’ve used this app for about 5 or 6 years now. HOWEVER, I find that the app is only great for certain things. I absolutely love its large variety of yoga, stretch, and meditation activities. They really hit the nail on the head with those options. There is a yoga workout for any situation you can think of. That’s why I’ve kept this app. First, I’ve tried to use the meal planning a few times, but it’s just not in-depth enough. There is no calorie counting, or macro tracking. It’s not easily customizable. It makes it appear like there’s calorie counting, but it’s just not detailed enough. Second, there are NO gym workouts. This is great for people who want to workout at home. But I wish they integrated workouts for those who use gym equipment. So the workout portion is useless to me (except for the yoga and meditation). You can log any type of workout you’ve done that day, but I want to see everything in one place. I find that I have like 4 different apps for one specific thing. Example, I use this app for yoga. I use another app for detailed calorie and meal planning. I use another app for gym workout planning. I use another app just as a general day-planner. I have YET to see an app that has everything in one.
I emailed them to get support over an app bug that kept happening for multiple day, about two weeks ago, I still haven’t gotten an email back.
I've never used it just looking but cuts my money and i changed my ipad Going to download, can't download, I pay money for?
This is probably my fave app for weight loss and the WW. But I like this one more cause I can chose and customize food. The only thing is I wish whoever put this app together would work on updating and changing up recipes. To my knowledge it’s all the from like last year or two years ago. Another that I love about WW is the have a community so u feel like a part of family and can get encouragement. But with 8fit there is nothing like that at all so I wish there was. This is probably the last time I will spend money on this app, if not too successful or hard to stay motivated without a community of people doing this same thing. Oh and it’s unfortunate they for body fat they only have certain amount so I feel this app still have a lot of work to do. But overall otherwise it’s one of my faves. Thank u, Gena.
