AI Dungeon

The app is great but I’ve noticed that sometimes when I’m starting a new story and are going through the character generation and are reading the bread text of a race or a place I want to start at, That the app automatically minimizes out of active use and I have to start it again from the menu and it’s forgotten my place and selection during character generation and now I have to start the generation all over after going and finding the story I wished to play. Why does it do this? And secondly when I’ve played for fifty minutes an hour I have to exit and enter the app again to start a new story because of an authorization issue. Why can’t I have the app open continuously and just go from story to story and why does it exit out of the app if I take to long scrolling through the options during character creation!?

I really wanted to like this game, but I must say it’s more work than fun and in the end the reward is miniscule. The AI doesn’t build a world with choices and surprises as you would expect from a regular text based, it’s more like you having to push the narration in the direction you want it and in the end it only feels like you’re telling a story to yourself. This was a fun idea but AI is not a suitable storyteller, yet.

A new energy system has been put into the game. It sucks. I was given one action point and was so only able to do one entire action before being locked out of doing much with the ai.

Very entertaining game and an amazing outlet for creativity. Although recently the game has been a bit weird with its user privacy, it’s nothing I mind too much. It’s not as if this is the ”rare case” of an app having your data and information lmao.

The game is good but i need to verify my email like always

The AI is really smart and knows what I want most of the time and it knows a lot. But sometimes it didn’t give me what I wanted. I’ve found a glaring issue where the AI doesn’t remember that my character has a name instead thinking it’s a separate character.

I used to enjoy AI dungeon a lot, but recently it’s turned into quite a mess with several ai’s energy systems and currencies that make the experience a bother. However the biggest issue at hand is that they are sending your private marked stories (where you might’ve put in personal information) to be reviewed by people, and the process is NOT secure. People who shouldn’t have access to the stories have easily bypassed the security in place and have identified people by their stories.

I used to pay for the premium version and honestly cannot really go back to the so called griffin version. There should be a limited amount of dragon with ads or something because it’s really quite an amazing experience, I just don’t play enough to justify the monthly cost. I wish this game was part of Apple Arcade, it’s an amazing game and I’ve had hours of fun with it. I really recommend trying out the premium version though the free trial and maybe pay for a month or two if you’ve got a good campaign going. I’ll keep an eye on this game, it’s a one of a kind on the App Store.
