This is a fantastic App. I’ve wanted the ability to shuffle and play complete albums as the app that comes standard with the phone does not shuffle complete albums. This one does and brilliantly. It does many other things as well and works brilliantly with CarPlay. Thanks Adam.
One of the best things about this app is the beautiful display of album at. Sadly the resolution on album at seems to have been halved and it kind of ruins the experience. I will probably stop using it.
I’ve been using Albums for some time and have come to realise the app is just amazingly brilliant. The stand out feature for me is the “Release Feed” that monitors artists from your library and alerts you of any new releases or updates. I can’t recommend this app enough. To the developers, thank you.
A great, great app. Best music player that I’ve found for iPhone and iPad and I’ve tried lots of them.
Very useful app if you enjoy Albums rather than playlists of songs. Now please do the same for the Podcasts app 😉
This is what I have been after! If you enjoy listening to albums and rediscovering stuff in your library this is the app for you. Great stuff.
While the stock Apple Music app is fine for playlists, lyrics, & discovering new music, it’s not great for everything. Sometimes I just want to listen to an album or two, or listen though the entire discography of an artist, and when I do Albums is where I go to do it. Being able to sort by release date lets me start at the beginning & work forward, allowing me to experience how the band change and grow from one album to the next. I fear that albums are becoming less important in favour of singles, but it’s god to know there’s an app out there for those of us who still prefer the old ways. Not every app is good enough that I’ll pay for a lifetime unlock of the full version, but in this case it was worth every penny.
Looks great with one exception - does it support playlists? I have a lot of playlists on Apple Music - both smart playlists and manual ones, but when I go to the playlist tab on this app it is empty. Is this a premium pay feature ?
It just simply doesn’t function, it will not show any music.
A great app that puts albums front and centre, including their artwork. Makes browsing and listening joyful. The Insights tab does bring the nostalgia of albums discovered over the years.
