I paid several hundred dollars for the hardware, but the app is full of ads trying to squeeze even more money out of me. And now it’s sending me ads in push notifications, which is the ultimate dark pattern and, personally, a dealbreaker for me.

This device was expensive but it works, at least for me. Their greed is clear in the app. For a device that is meant to help relieve stress, seeing ‘joy’ literally locked behind a pay wall gives me a headache. Based on their app, they’re focus isn’t on a good device but in doing what every tech company wants to do these days and lock you in for a monthly subscription. I do not trust them to continue to provide a good experience in the future for nonsubscription customers. I will still use it, but I no longer will be recommending it to people in my life.

A subscription doesn’t make sense for this device (unless you are doing a money grab).

Schedule often fails to run for no reason. Update: My 6mobth old Apollo is useless due to a well known issue of becoming suddenly super loud vibrating rattling buzzing. I paid more than $359 cdn plus shipping and huge customs because I believed all your false advertising. Apollo Neuro is obviously a scam.

I’ve been eyeing the Apollo Neuro for years and was so excited to finally get it for the holidays this year. Well as excited as I was for the device, I was equally disappointed in the app right off the bat. The connection to the device is spotty. The scheduling feature doesn’t work at all whatsoever. The interface is basic and the usage data isn’t even as comprehensive as it could be. I can’t even access the premium subscription from the Subscribe button (but at this point Im not paying to find out how much worse the paid version is). With an expensive device and in todays day and age you NEED to immediately address this app and user experience. I’m seriously considering returning my device.

I purchased a refurbished Apollo Neuro about three months ago. I had a little trouble getting it set up, but persevered, but after a while, the little things started bugging me; in walks the Apollo Neuro team, and they held my hand through all the steps to fix those bugs. They persevered until it was working exactly as I needed it to work. Great job Team Apollo!

they hide most of the features behind a 100$ a year paywall subscription

After purchase of expensive hardware which ostensibly includes necessary software there is suddenly a $100 a year fee for new features. In addition there is no trial or even the option of a one month subscription. You have to commit $100 just to try the two new programs. One has to assume they have little faith users would pay if allowed to try first. This is the kind of profit gauging that holds the adoption of legitimate new ideas back.

I sleep much better after using Apollo regularly. I’m not waking up during the night anymore. Highly recommend this product.

I use Apollo all day everyday and I have to say that this App is awesome. There’s no dropping from the blue tooth, the modes are great from day to day and I love how you get to track your progress. The new Power Nap mode is one of my favourites along with the Fall Asleep mode. I’m very happy that this App hasn’t crashed on me once and I’ve been using it for over 20 hours straight.
