I honestly expected more from Apple. The Home app and the entire Apple Home ecosystem are a complete mess. Whether I use it on my iPad or iPhone, it’s equally unreliable and frustrating. Devices randomly show as “Not Responding,” automations fail without reason.. Simple tasks like turning on lights or checking the status of accessories become a nightmare when the system doesn’t react – especially when you’re paying premium prices for what’s supposed to be a “seamless smart home experience.” I’ve tried resetting, updating, reconfiguring – nothing helps. I shouldn’t have to spend hours troubleshooting something that’s supposed to simplify my life. Apple really needs to take a serious look at the stability of their Home ecosystem. Right now, it’s not smart – it’s just broken. Would not recommend this to anyone relying on a functional smart home setup. Total disappointment.

Vypadol nam prud a odvtedy nevie nadviazat kontakt so zariadeniami. Nefunguje.

V tejto aplikácií nie je možné nastaviť polohu domácnosti. Vo vizitke každého člena domácnosti je správna adresa domácej adresy. Aj to fungovalo ale jednej noci sa Apple rozhodlo že to zmení a ja ani netuším kam. Takže sú nefunkčné automatizácie príchodu a odchodu domov ani automatizácie ktoré sa majú vykonať podľa prítomnosti členov domácnosti. To naozaj Apple nedokáže pridať jednu položku do nastavení pre zadanie adresy domácnosti???????????????

Celý koncept aplikácie je pekne prehľadný. K dispozícii sú widgety a ovládanie je jednoduché. Chýbajú však funkcie pre meranie spotreby elektriny. Ovládanie klimatizácie je neohrabane.

Overal OK, but still missing some features which are standard in other home apps. - not possible to set slats angle for a Venetian blind. Only open close the blind. - not possible to set favourite positions - not possible to set inverted logic for a device. E.g. patio awning has inverted open/close logic than a blind or shade. - In iPhone 12 with Display Zoom mode, the device tiles are unnecessary large, across whole display width. In iOS 15 version, I saw all my device tiles in a Room view without need to scroll. Now with iOS 16 I need to scroll. The biggest (if not the only) benefit of the Home app is actually the direct integration with Siri, so I can voice command the devices, without need to touch the phone or open some 3rd party app. With Siri, I can schedule lights to switch on/off. I have no idea why I can not do the same with e.g. valves -Siri respnds "I can not schedule that for you".

After a year I am not able to add the family member to the home. Apple told me to wait for update. So here I am waiting, and after a year and several updates its still not possible. My wife is still not able to control the heating in the kids room…

I don't have an issues with application, paring was fast and effective, with GUI and controls of application I was really fast familiar.

This product is bad and people working on it should feel bad. Product does not work on 5G network. That means you need to create separate 2.4 network to work with homekit. So each time you want to use it you need to change network. I think this is terrible implementation of a brilliant idea. Bad apple bad.
