How come I can not send an alert message to myself when indoor temperature rises due to fire in my home, but I can automate a creation of a PDF, when humidity levels change for one degree? It just seems .. well useless, to put it mildly. I’m quite new to home automation, but I question myself why did I buy all these gizmos and HomePods if all I can do is turn the light on with my voice command? And the worst thing is, that it doesn’t take much to change this service from “meh” to “woohoo”. Verdict: “meh”.

I’ve using homekit for years now and while it is usable and has a lot of promise, it remains largely unreliable and diffict to diagnose issues. From time to time things just don’t work.

Hi, the app overall works fine, but i have 3 homes, 2 of themxset by me & one of our studio (work). However my home app on launch always hit me tocthe 3rd home that is work. It doesn’t metter where am i, it shows work. And that also goes for control center controls. It always show the work’s home. Instead of the one where i am. Make this location accurate please or gives us an option to set a primary home!
