What is wrong with the phone/watch synchronization? You claimed if works with Watch seamlesly now, but the opposite is true

I have to say that they improved a lot, but it cost something obviously. Now if you buy swnsors you have to pay subscription. Not much for west world for former comycountry its quite lit so no big market there, despite a lot of courses and golfers. Anyway i love it and will kepp using it. It helps a lot and its better than using some golfwatches for distance measurment.

App unable to load course data, neither can I start game. reinstall did not help. Whole system is therefore just expensive and useless. if you are out to play the game and your gps is out of function, it is a surprise I would prefer to avoid. customer service is really bad, as bad is the course mapping. when I asked to update mapping and imagery of a regular European Tour course, they added second mapping with new sat images but left old mapping with bunkers they do not exist for years and missing new water hazards, as well as greens are often mapped including collection areas, so twice as big as they really are. really low quality mapping and unable/unwilling to fix it. months since introduction of SGA, still only imperial measures based analysis is available, leaving players from countries where metric system is prevailing confused... Watch app is like beta version, useless in the shot detection mode, and the Link GPS/mic are very inaccurate compared to iPhone 11 Pro. value for money is less than one star, despite the technology is quite interesting, much more than Garmin GPS, but also much less reliable, unfortunatelly

Still very unhappy with the iPhone X accuracy due to which the statistics are very unreliable. Sometimes even 15-20 meters deflection. Additionally Apple Watch app still buggy, still more likely a beta version. Potential great, but still many challenges. But keeping my fingers crossed, as I’m a fan of this technology!

I wish it was advertised or more prominently if it was advertised that you need at least 8 clubs in order for the tracking to start. A bit ridiculous that you can’t track with just one club whether it is an iron, wedge, putter, hybrid, etc. unless I am missing something you are forced to have 8 clubs.

If you want to spend every hole correcting your scores and shots by all means get this. I can’t believe this is a product anyone can recommend

This is a really great tool for beginner golf course. I don’t know how long the clubs are. That on top of my clubs getting longer and longer every time I play I’d never be able to keep track without my Arco sensors 10 out of 10.

My biggest gripe with it so far is the screen limitation when viewing the hole. There are times when my ball goes past the green, or the Teebox is further back than the app thinks, but I’m unable to either add the shot, or edit the shot because it’s off screen and the app doesn’t let you move it or zoom out that much. It seems like a weird limitation. This is very necessary if for some reason it thinks my first shot on a particular hole is a shot from the prior hole

I started using Arccos when I purchased a new set of clubs in 2020. Ping offered a promotion where the Arccos grips were paired with my new clubs and the first year of access to the Arccos service was free. How does it work? A sensor is built into the butt of the handle of your grip. It is unassuming and does not change the look or feel of the grip. The sensor pairs to your phone via Bluetooth. The app offers a detailed map with GPS overlay of your position on course. Once you select a club for play, the app recognizes your club (sensor is light activated) and the sound of hitting the ball is registered by your phone/ watch / or the arccos “link” ( a wearable accessory that eliminates the need to carry your phone around the course). Once on the green, you walk to the pin location and hit a button on phone/ watch / or the arccos “link and this marks pin placement on the green. Once you hole your putt, you can review what positions and clubs were selected by the app to insure accuracy of what the app interpreted vs what you actually did. The gps tracking and the ability of the software to give you distances (front, middle, back) of green are great, but many apps offer this as a feature. The real value comes after you’ve accumulated several rounds of data. Arccos then compiles your play and offers insights into strokes gained over every facet of your game. This allows for focused practice and for strategy changes on courses you frequently play. They offer MCC or tour velvet grips. If you are happy with your current grips, they also have the Arccos sensor that will attach to the butt end of your grip. They also have super strike putter grips. Cost is currently around $155 per year. Again, many apps offer great GPS data for shot planning. The value comes from the insights in Strokes gained (or lost) and can help drill down on where you need to improve.

Was hesitant in purchasing on the start. However the app & sensors have worked great so far. Like the fact that it doubles as a range finder! I link it through an iPhone and it has missed a stroke or two, but it is a rarity. Would most definitely recommend and would purchase again as well.
