Ate Food Diary is a subscription app with a 7-day FREE trial for new subscribers. The subscription gives you full, unlimited access to the app- no hidden fees, gated features, or ads. It enables Ate to continuously provide new features and updates while maintaining a private and secure environment for you to journal in.
Subscriptions created in the app are processed and managed by Apple. Your credit card will be charged through your Apple App Store account when you confirm your purchase. Subscription renews automatically at the same price unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the subscription term. You can manage subscriptions in Account Settings in the Apple App Store after purchase. Refunds will not be provided for any unused portion of the subscription term.

been using this app for years and it’s great but all of a sudden there a paywall? i cant access any of the foods i’ve saved on there and it’s honestly saddening me :( but i appreciate the time when i used the app as it did allow me to keep my foods safe while giving me high quality pictures of them so thanks for that :)

Ate helps me be more conscious of and intentional about what I choose to eat. It also helps me hold myself accountable for those choices in a non-judgmental way: each meal or snack you have is either on path or off path. If you want to reflect on your eating choice more deeply, Ate allows you to do that with a range of simple prompts that help you consider everything from why you are eating when, who with abs how you felt afterwards. It gives me the flexibility to set simple, realistic eating goals and helps me to create new, lasting mindful and healthy eating habits.

I came across ate looking for apps to help me as a food diary. I had tried many food tracking apps before to log meals but honestly I have not been consistent on any of those apps. I found ate is helping building consistent habits in food consumption. The app also integrates with apple health to log activity and also helps track drinks consumption which is great. I can certainly recommend ate to users looking to take small steps to a healthy routine.

This is awesome! Most of the people know what to eat anyway and this type of journaling is quick and easy. There is no need to spend precious minutes typing calories, listing ingredients, etc. just snap a picture and mark if what you ate is keeping you on your path or off it. Absolutely genius. And makes building a new habit of eating healthy very fast and easy.

This app is so good especially for a diet, you can take pictures of whatever you eat, I was looking for an app with these type of features, although I wish they could add another feature where you can view the full day of photos in a grid like format.

I used to use this app off and on for years. It was never really that great but I liked the visual interface and being able to take pictures of my meals. I just logged in to find out that I no longer have access to any of my past data and I have to pay for a subscription. There is no longer any free option. I intensely dislike being forced to pay for a product that has already taken my information. I have deleted the app. Very sorry to lose my data history.
