Love it, so simple and not over stimulating and so satisfying to check the habits off daily.
I have spent many years working on different habits, habit apps, and habit work flows, I’ve got to say this is the best app of them all and I’m not surprised coming from James’s mind. The only thing that’s stopping me from using this app full-time and giving it five stars is that of the ability to not import my habits from other apps, I have a running streak in one app for multiple habits and I would like to transition that over to Atom; streak and all. As soon as this is made available, I will be moving this up permanently. It is that good!
I love the layout of the app, the colour choice and the daily insights are amazing. Too expensive though.
I have been using this app for the past… 4 months or so? I love it! It’s changed my life for the better, big time. It is simple to use and has a beautiful and elegant interface. I’ve felt invested enough to purchase their yearly subscription pretty early on, within weeks of the app’s original launch date. That being said, there is a “but”, unfortunately… I woke up today to find the app has randomly decided to wipe out over a week’s worth of log history for all 6 habits I’m tracking. This happened weeks back with one sole habit, I was bummed but didn’t do much about it as it wasn’t a habit I was really that worried about. Today’s issue was a low blow for me, however, as seeing one’s clean streak grow is paramount to keeping you inspired to be persistent. Anyhow… considering the price of its yearly subscription, this bug/issue is simply unacceptable. I’ve just contacted support. Waiting to hear back.
It keeps logging me out and failing. I’ll improve this review if they fix it
I really like this as a habit tracker and a great follow on from the book. I just wished it didn’t limit you to one habit on the free version and 6 on the pro. It’s really quite expensive, these are the reasons I won’t be telling everyone about it when I really would want to otherwise as it’s got great potential.
It has a nice and well-considered design that's let down by a lack of basic features like dark mode and 24 hour time. It has a baffling need to be connected to the internet all the time to do basic tasks, so if you live in a city with patchy cell service like I do you're going to have a rough time. It also means the privacy of this app is a lot worse than it needs to be. I was willing to try it for a month, especially given the fact that other habit tracking apps aren't as carefully designed or geared towards self-actualisation goals like this is but the asking price is very out of line for what it is. It's a well designed app, but it's not complex at all.
This did everything you needed it to do but when you find out the free version is 1 habit tracked only and cost for pro is eye watering for the features offered. Notion is cheaper and is way, way more. Shame.
Procreate is a one time purchase of £12, is way more complex than a simple habit builder app, and is constantly updated (despite paying once). So this app which is simple and won’t need updates, costs the same for 1 month as Procreate does to use forever. Why make people pay £10 a month when the app is built once and from then only needs basic maintenance? Built once, pay once. £10 per month is insane.
Enjoyed it for the brief time that it was free, now the free tier is awful and the pro version is expensive. Clearly monetisation is more important than providing value to all.
