AURA App

The device itself is genuinely worthless. After working correctly (although the band takes forever to collect data by contorting your hands into a pretzel and any wrong movement while the band is taking a measurement faults it out and you have to start again) taking my metrics for a couple of days then the band started trying to take measurements randomly, then it stopped working altogether. Customer service- though responsive- tried to make me jump through so many hoops to prove that it was not working that I ended up frustrated and threw it away after less than 2 weeks of use. A waste of a few hundred dollars.

I bought my Aura Strap 2 and quickly realized I wasted my money. It didn’t work after only a couple days. I contacted the company and thankfully they sent me another strap. Guess what… THE OTHER STRAP DOESN’T WORK EITHER!

The body composition measurement is really cool. I want to wear this watch band with my Apple Watch for all my workouts… unfortunately it’s just a bit tight… like even the largest size is snug… I’m hoping over time the band will loosen or maybe they will make a slightly larger size.

You can never view your stats it just constantly stays in a load mode, but never finishes loading so you’re unable to look back at previous measurements that you’ve taken

Hello!!! I am writing you again because I have realized that after receiving the aura band 2 for the second time, the device you sell did not work, it was useless... again the same thing happened as the first... it only worked once!! But I never took measurements... But its green led never turned on... But it never responded!!!! The truth is that I am very disappointed with the product... so much so that I want my refund! I would not recommend it to anyone on the planet... the product seems to be made or built for a single measurement! After playing sports (tennis) it stopped working out of nowhere... and I am disappointed because I precisely purchased it to measure the level of dehydration in the body.. and today I almost fainted from dehydration thinking that the device worked!!! The truth is it is a deception. In addition, this product has very poor engineering in how it was created, its design is vulnerable to water entering either through sweat while doing sports or water when bathing or any type of liquid. When you open it for the first time to change the size of the strap and you close it again it is never watertight and it is always vulnerable to water entering, even your own body sweat entering it. Without further ado, wasting time. I want to know how we solve this? Will you give me my money back? I will return your inoperative bands to wherever you want! I am not interested in having a garbage product.

I chose the Aura band for my Apple Watch and have thoroughly enjoyed using it to keep tabs on my weight, fat content, and muscle mass. There are several view options depending on your preference for data visualization. Keeping up with my BMI and reaching my target is so helpful.

The bands don’t work. I have had two now and both are defective. They will take a few readings then stop working. Very disappointing and a waste of money. I will give them credit for responding promptly. Yet, this seems like a beta product that they haven’t figured out QA issues yet.

The app and hardware are very unreliable. You MIGHT get a reading every dozen attempts or so. Otherwise you will mostly get errors. The idea was so promising and I was so excited to get it but I can’t overstate how hard it is to get an actual reading much less to know if it’s accurate or not. And because it’s so sporadic in functioning it makes it extremely hard for any of the data provided to be actionable since it’s impossible to trust.

I don’t know if it is the device or the software, but it simply does not work reliably. The only support is via email, which means troubleshooting takes days, and so far has been the equivalent of turn it off and back on. “Open it up and send us pictures”, “try rotating the cap the other was”, etc. For the price of the device, plus the subscription I simply expect more. Now the message just reads “error, unknown, please contact support”. Almost a month of it nearly never working, I cannot give it a good review. If any thing actually happerns with support I will update

I had been using the Aura app and strap flawlessly for a few months now. I just upgraded my Apple Watch and iPhone and I’m no longer able to sign into the app. Support has been completely useless, suggesting I restart my phone, reinstall the app, etc. I work in IT. I know what all of the basic troubleshooting steps are. Guess I’m out $200 now.
