AvalonGO

This is our first Avalon River cruise and I must say it has exceeded my expectations. The organisation leading up to the cruise has been great , our welcome aboard was very warm and informative , our cabin is very comfortable , always clean , fresh towels , water . Etc All the meals have been delicious , an amazing selection every day . We have thoroughly enjoyed all the staff , so friendly and obliging with everything . Our Table waiter has been Gede an he has made each sitting very pleasant and look after each of our personal likes . He’s been fabulous . As have the other staff. The only disappointing thing is the weather , but no one can control that and we do feel the Captain made the best call to miss Vienna and cruise on to Budapest . Well done everyone . All the information that we needed for our cruise was in the app, including where to find the ship when we got to Basel. The cruise itself was magic - we were on the Avalon Vista, 22-29 July - great ship, great crew. Loved every moment of it.

The AvalonGO app was used a lot on our cruise. However many updates did not come through in a timely fashion. To access details about excursions we had to search through the main documents - 42 pages. A link or copied info in the app for the activities on the day would have been great. Especially as we had rebooked and wanted to check what we were doing each day. Easily accessible duration and scheduled times would help to plan for other activities. More detail about what is covered in the excursions would help identify what other activities or places we wanted to see that weren’t included and to save double ups. A good app overall. Thanks.

A lot of thought has gone into the content of this app and very intuitive on how to use. Thank you takes a many levels of stress out of the trip.

This didn’t work for us but I had another app with the itinerary loaded . It was good in regards to menus but the excursions didn’t download

Easy and fast to navigate around. We used it a lot for documentation storage and keeping track of our plans.
