Manuel Ivan and Patrick were courteous and caring and served all well in the panorama lounge Also were all staff at dinner Dragos ( ?) and other girl were attentive at all times at dinner Here was a wonderful cabin attendant Ti or the cruise director was wonderful and worked so hard My favourite tour guide was Fabio who walked a good pace and explained all sights so well I followed him for 2 day tours All in all , my Avalon trip was wonderful and I will recommend to others , my friends and anybody who asks !

If you want to find a highly professional cruise company that has a Passion for all round quality customer service then choose Avalon. Avalon crew in all departments demonstrated the highest standards of friendliness and service and ensured your cruise holiday experience would be happy and memorable. Food quality and presentation were Michelin standard. Cabin suites were maintained to 5 star standard with linen and towels freshly changed at least once a day. The views from the full length balcony windows brought the beauties of the river right to your side. Unless your tastes go to spirits you don't need to spend an extra cent on alcohol. Its free with meals and at happy hour. Hot drinks and snacks were available at all hours if you missed a meal due to a sleep in or an extended exploration of the interesting ports of call ashore. Fascinating shore excursions, physical activities and after dinner entertainment round off your day if you so desire. I highly recommend Avalon for river cruising in Europe. Sue Ellyard

Particularly liked the journal component of the App. With so much going on the during the cruise was great to be able to look back and reflect on what we had observed and experienced. A useful tool to keep me up on track

Daily newsletters keep me informed and I can check all the excursions. I have been using the journal area to keep track of things I learnt from the very informative leaders of the tour groups.

Very clean ship, rooms are great, ammenities are good aswell.
