The app freezes and does not upgrade to fix the problem. I’ve started using another more stable app. Too bad, because this was my go to Bible app for years!!

This app used to work, albeit buggy. Now, it won’t even launch. I just get the logo for a millisecond, then it freezes on a white screen. I’m fully updated on the app and iPhone. That’s probably the problem. This isn’t the first time I have given up on this app because it was inoperable. Happened last year as well. Went to another app for a while. I checked back a few months later and it was working again. However, this time I’m not so sure I’ll wait again. It’s disappointing that my notes and highlights are gone again.

Crashes each time I try to read the Bible. It won’t load. Please fix.

I’ve used this app for years and never had a problem with it. This was until they started placing an ad every time you opened the app. I tolerated for a while until today. It gave me an ad for an Ai art bot that made very questionable and risqué photos. I wanted to read the Bible, not look at whatever that was. I’m finding a new app.

Can’t get the app to work even though I am a paid subscriber. I have true and tried.

I’ve used Biblegateway for years. Now I can’t open it without obnoxious audio and video ads. I can’t use it in church or quiet times at home. Forced audio ads are pushing me to find a new bible app.

The app is now terrible. It doesn’t load. Anything after Version 49 just doesn’t work. It’s disappointing. This is a great place for studying but Word with a great access to different versions and translation. I know it’s because of Apples software itself so I pray there is a solution that presents itself. Your online website is great but this app is not working anymore :(. How unfortunate.

I understand the necessity of $ponors but the audio portion has ads that have nothing to do with growth. Time spent on arcade games and gambling games, is a open door to less Kingdom work. Now in the past few months, the ads have been set to minimum time viewed before it can be closed and the close button is strategically designed tiny and next to a larger button that takes you to the advertisers app. 👎🏾. To be frustrated every time I go to hear the Word; because of that “I am out.”

At times it’s been impossible to bypass the ads at the beginning. I used to use this app all the time. Not anymore. Making space on my iPhone. There are other choices. Fix the ad issues please. I feel bad saying something because it’s free, but there is a better way. I don’t mind the ads. Just allow for bypassing. They’ve made so you have to click on the ad and do a full review.

I used this app for years and was so happy with it. Then they added advertising, which was fine at first. I understand this is a free app and the ads support it. BUT NOW, they’ve resorted to annoying video ads that can last up to a minute or so, with sound at times, and you cannot “skip” the ads .. you’re stuck with them until they end. And it’s very clunky to exit out of them. When I’m having my quiet time with the Lord, the last thing I want is to deal with this. I really like the app layout itself, but I can no longer tolerate this horrible nuisance. I’d be willing to pay for the app with no ads, but until then I’m out.
