They show an estimated cost for a trip, then they charge you 10 times that amount after the trip! Stop scamming tourists

The driver charged me 2230 Turkish liras from my location to the airport, even when the app was showing me to pay max 984 Turkish liras for the trip, before booking it. I had an argument with driver, I told him he is overcharging, he said not and took advantage of me because I am woman and foreigner. I called customer service, they told me to call my bank and reject the payment, so basically I have to block my credit card because of their lack of help. I kindly ask them a refund of at least 1000 Turkish liras and they didn’t help me, even when I paid with credit card, is very easy to refund the money as it was not paid by cash, but they didn’t help. Worst Uber company I took in my life.

in the new update Im unable to cancel my trip even if the taxi didn’t show up

Booked taxi from airport to hotel, it has shown around 1000-1200 leera. Ended up paying around 2000.

Reason: before you order the taxi, the App gives you an estimated fare, once the drivers accept the trip, they will text you proposing a fare 2.5 x or 3x more!!! It happened to me 5 times in a row on my first day in Istanbul, so I am uninstalling this Crooks / Thieves App and sticking to UBER where there are no bad surprises!

Total waste of time app didn’t get the location

I got doubled charged on my ride… called the call center and they can’t help because they have “technical issue” their systems can’t open. Don’t fall for this scam

Fraud alert - they keep cancelling the ride and when you use ride, the system deducts 3 rides charges, 1 actual and 2 much hire and when you call they don’t respond. They ask that they only accept credit card for fraud.

Some drivers are scammers and manipulate the payment method. For me he put it cash and then he put a high number and asked me to pay by card and said its system generated. Had to fight it till we ended up canceling the order on the app and paying cash.
