Blink Charging Mobile App

We tried using this fast charger and it was a terrible experience! We attempted to use our CC, tried the App, and finally gave up and went down the road to an apple green electric charger. We got hooked up right away without a problem.

This is the worst charging app I have ever seen. Don’t waste your time

There ought to be a way that the map pinpoints your location; especially if you’re parked in front of a charger! Also, the charging stand should tell the charging price per kwh prior to hooking up. One last thing, this location should have fast charge capabilities. It took 8 hrs to get to 80%! The app didn’t even register my charge as it was hooked up! All this is a big disappointment. Gotta do better in this EV age.

App is okay but it’s so weird that it asks to add cash at free charging locations. Even when the credit card is linked to the account.

Both the station and the software need update

I only installed it to report a charging station that was not functioning. The app isn't letting me submit the report. Go with chargepoint and avoid blink!

Don’t bother app is useless. No I will not call support due to a app that won’t even finish the log in process without issue. Put some money into a app developer team that is competent. I can’t comprehend how this app has not been removed from the App Store yet. I have a plug in hybrid so for me no big deal if I can’t get this to work. But for BEV only drivers I would definitely give up on it and go back to ICE out of frustration. Maybe your people at this charging company don’t want it to work. 👀

I have a Sema Connect charger at home. Apparently Blink bought Sema Connect. Now I have to use this garbage app when I charge my car at home. It won’t let me update my address or any other details about the charger. It also won’t let change status from locked to unlocked. I own the charger. Why am I required to use this awful app to use my own equipment to charge me car at home?

I’ve been to different Blink charging stations around the DFW. Only one worked in frisco at the indigo hotel and it charged very slow. The others were at t-mobile corporate offices in frisco and home suites in frisco. Neither worked. The one in front of Boston Pizza in Irving doesn’t work and I was there 48 hrs ago. It still says I’m charging my car there. Lastly the one in Lewisville in Front of Twin peaks works but is slow as well. I am now in the process of trying to close my account as I prefer EVgo, but since the app thinks I’m still charging my car at Boston pizza I cannot delete my account. I just want this to be over with. This experience was a nightmare.
