BPme: BP & Amoco Gas Rewards

Seems like half the time the app doesnt work and I have use my credit card. I hit the BP App and it wants me to sign in manually. Why have the app if I have sign in like I’m using my browser? Very frustrating. Somehow BP is trying to make money off our account at our expense in terms of time and frustration. Ugh!

I went to a BP gas station and found that my BPme app does not work there. I was told by the BPme app to install the Earnify app. I successfully used the earnify app at multiple BP locations. Then I go to another of the BP locations that I frequent only to find their app tells me it does not work at this location and that I need to download or use the BPme app this is ridiculous, why have two apps to do one thing.

I’ve had this app for MONTHS because I have a BP right by my house. It pops up on the app to pay and all of that but every time I try, there’s an error. I’ve spent well over $100 and still haven’t gotten my 5¢ off fuel reward or any other rewards. It says to link a card and it will automatically detect and give rewards but it never does. I went to a BP gas station like 1.5hrs away and for the first time the actual pump asked me for my rewards number to log in and I FINALLY got some progress towards a reward. I’ve contacted support, nothing helps. There’s also a Texaco by me and I was avoiding them, who were sometimes cheaper than BP, thinking I’m getting reward points and I’m not.

This app lags & freezes all the time. On top of that my local BP isn’t verified in the app. Not worth the hassle.

I really love this app. It’s really helped me save money on gas as well as saving time by not having to mess with going inside the store when I don’t have enough money for the pump to put a $100-150 hold on my card while I’m pumping $20 in gas. It’s great and also for $.99 month the comparison part of the app that gives you even more money off per gallon when it finds prices lower than the place I’m at has really been nice as well. I definitely recommend this app to everyone who gets gas at a BP ever. It’s definitely worth downloading and using. I’ve no issues at all and I’ve used it for two years plus now. Get it, you won’t regret it.

I love this app. Unfortunately, I tried using it today; it came back with location is not supported. It offered using “Earnify app” instead. I installed it but I didn’t use it yet. I wanted to find out more about it. I suspect, this app is a replacement for the BP me.

I don’t know if it’s the app or the stations but I can never used my rewards. Then when I contact support, they say they’ve given me an additional discount for the trouble, then that never shows up. For a while I was able to get my regular discount by using my linked card but this time it didn’t work. So I’m at a loss. The stations only have the ability to use Harris Teeter rewards when I enter my number vs BP rewards. The pumps should give you the option to choose BP or Teeter.

Kinda annoying every time I go to use the app I gotta resign in. Gets annoying

I have been using this app for years and it works really good most the time until they update. Then, without notice you’re gonna get gas and the app doesn’t work then it says you need to update. May not be that big of thing for most people but the gas station I usually get gas at has very weak cell signal so updating is not an option it would be nice if you gave us a notice to update the app so we could do at home or where the signal is strong. Instead it forcing us to dig through and get our credit card out again, which is what the app is supposed to stop you from doing.
