Just checked the previous reviews by switching to Airplane mode. They’re correct, internet connection required. Totally cripples the app for me when abroad. A pity, because I really like Camera+ and have used it for years. Developers, please reconsider this extremely bad decision. I don’t want to be forced to change Camera app…
It used to work really well but now doesn’t open unless connected to internet, not much use when out in the field. Nowhere that I can find any help!
A camera (app or otherwise) that doesn’t work without an internet connection is pathetic and user-hostile.
Too complicated. Can’t even find detailed instructions on how to create depth control which is the main reason I purchased this app
For the last month or so this App is taking up to 30 secs to open, if it does open at all. Sometimes it freezes as soon as it opens. Sometimes it just sticks on the, miss-centred, opening stream. Sometimes it opens but the camera screen is black. Doesn’t seem to work anymore when no mobile signal - like in countryside! Sadly, after years of happy use, seriously now looking for replacement.

For years this was my go to 5 star photo app, but I just paid £50 to get back features I paid for, what I thought was lifetime. I bit the bullet and bought lifetime, again, but so no improvement.
This app is hugely overpriced for what it provides. And the developers seem to have dropped off the face of the earth. If zero stars was an option that’s what tbey’d get.
I love the app for it’s simplicity but the let down is I need to be connected to WiFi or 4G/5G if I didn’t have to rely on this it would get a full 5star rating
