Disappointed
Really upsetting to see there’s a post and all it is is your request for $ While I understand the need for financial support I don’t appreciate gut drop when I see the notification thinking something has happened

I’ve authored and co-authored several CaringBridge sites over the years. I have appreciated the relative ease of creating, updating and otherwise modifying sites - until earlier this year. Don’t know what happened to blow CaringBridge out of the water a few months ago, and the complete lack of communication about it was baffling. I’d still appreciate something more than “we’re working hard.” While there’s been progress in recent months, the site still lacks much of its previous usability. As an author, I find it clumsy, difficult, and frustrating to use. More importantly, large numbers of my sister’s supporters and readers have stopped using it, and that is a very great loss. Are there plans to restore more functionality? Will CaringBridge communicate anything of substance that might help its users? Is anyone paying attention to feedback from the community of users? I hope so. Thanks for your time and attention.
Not working 3 days now
Before you made the update I received text notifications when a new post was added, now I get emails and I miss half of them. I don’t know why you would take away this notification option.
Great tool for updating withone post to everyone at once along with comments and caring thoughts. The app has a serious flaw though. None of us seem to be able to access the updates through the app without rebooting our phones each and every time. Also, being promoted as free is a bit deceptive due to the constant bombardment of donation requesting. I donated immediately but no matter. I removed the app I paid for the convenience of and access through the link in my email to get updates. Mixed blessing.
In principle it is a needed app. Sadly it is nearly impossible to navigate and update without a lengthy complicated process. It makes me want to pull my hair out.
I have used caringbridge site for our medical journey and like to follow friend’s journeys as well. However, since you launched the new app, it doesn’t work for me. I can’t get into anyone’s pages and I have to use my internet browser.
I love CaringBridge - the prayers over the years most likely saved my daughters life. However when you switched things up, I can’t see who sent ‘hearts and or praying hands’? I like to click and have those names pop up.
I am not interested in seeing every site I ever visited. But they are all there. Why?
I have two friends who have commented on my Caring Bridge post today. Neither show up for me. I look at the comments with my iPhone. I create my posts with my iPhone or iPad. They post correctly as do my responses to people who comment. Why is this happening?? I only know about it because Bobbie Walker responded with her iPhone and she can only see her response and one from Mellie. She can’t see the posts from Jan Erdman or Colleen Gray. Please help! I don’t want to miss responses. Thank you!
