Great way to connect to friends and family to share story of health condition

Absolutely hate the new format. Bring the old back!!

We have used Caring Bridge to keep friends and relatives informed about a family health issue for over a year. We rely on the notifications that are sent automatically to followers to let them know when we post an update. However, when we made a post on July 3, only a few followers received notifications. The majority still do not know about the new post. This vastly diminishes the value of Caring Bridge as a communication tool. I assume that this notification feature was messed up in the recent software update, but it is not mentioned on the list of open issues on the website. Please restore the feature ASAP, and let all posters know when it works again.

Since your format update, most of the approved visitors to our site can no longer access it. Do I have to delete them all and then invite them all over again? That would be crazy hard!!!!

This was such a wonderful way to keep friends and family updated. Since the update many can’t read my post using the link in the email that was automatically sent. Most say they get a blank page.

Please bring back the feature where you list the date when a visitor has read my post. Very helpful knowing who has read the latest entry.

I’m all about change but this new app is not friendly. I can’t find a click to see unread new posts. I have to open each one to see if there is a new post. I don’t like the new layout of the persons going left to right instead of up and down. I won’t be using this app near as much which is too bad as I can’t find updated posts.

I will no longer be using this app after the “upgrade”. Horrible! I’ll check back in a month or so to see if the kinks are ironed out.

I’m having a very difficult time seeing how the app has improved anything. I can no longer tell when someone visited my site, just that they visited. I can no longer tell who liked my journal entry, just that someone did. My overall sense is that the user experience has suffered from the app update.

The update is a lot harder to use. I don’t like my personal story taking up so much space and there is no way to tell who has new updates of all the people I follow. Please fix this. Also no pictures.
