Does not connected to 4 different brands and models

I have tried this Carly scanner on 4 different vehicles from bmw x3s to VW Amarok v6 and I get the same erro, tried all the steps given by Carly support but no success, Carly support is also useless so if you buy one of these it will be as good as a papers weight as mine is

Idiot proof

Simple and easy to use. Everything is self explanatory on the app. No need to fumble around and look for the information that you need. Only issue is that you need to be in a WiFi signal range to use it. Other than that, it’s flawless.

Not what I expected

So getting the device I already knew there was a subscription fee. I only really wanted to view live data on my car, now I know there are other devices but for BMW they say Carly is the best. So I said hey if I wanted to do a bit of coding it’s a win win. Sadly you can’t even view live data besides RPM on the app. I mean really, I didn’t expect every feature to be part of Full Version. Why even allow people to download the app for free. Super misleading and would not recommend.

Not happy with the pricing

I’m not going to update to a subscription. It’s already too expensive taking into consideration that I have to pay to unlock more features on the app and for every car manufacturer I have buy a different dongle and another app. Rethink how you charge. Why not sell one app with all the manufacturers you cover then have one OBD2 dongle that supports all.

Happy BMW owner

I bought this app when I bought my F30 M-Sport. I have been able to make all the changes I wanted to make ‘my car special’. Whenever I have needed assistance a quick email to Carly support gave me the help I needed. This is a great app and I would highly recommend it to any BMW enthusiast!

Now we must subscribe

Come on now, this is just pricing in bad taste. I bought the dongle and the app; which was already pricey for just Turing off stop start and a couple of lighting settings. Now I am expected to buy the app every year - automatically. Apple must review this vendor urgently - This ain’t right.

War am Anfang brauchbar, jetzt nicht mehr

Hatte an diesem WE Bremsen an meine Touareg 2 gemacht. Habe versucht die hinteren Bremsen in Wartungsstellung zu bringen - ging nicht! Wenn also solch durchliegenden Funktionen nicht gelingen, brauche ich dieses Dongle und die App nicht mehr.

Achtung teures Abomodell

Die App und die Funktionen sind soweit voll in Ordnung, aber leider zockt Carly seine Kunden mit einem intransparenten Preismodell komplett ab. Man kauft hier keine lebenslange Volllizenz sondern nur ein verstecktes Jahresabo. Die Kosten sind dementsprechend sehr hoch und eine Kündigung ist nur erschwert über den Support möglich.

Tolles Tool mit vielen Funktionen. Leider absolut gierige Preispolitik mit Abo Funktion.

Nach Carly Update viele Probleme

Ich habe vor vielen Jahren das GEN2 Adapter gekauft und alle Marken freigeschalten. Damals war ich begeistert und alle Diagnosen haben perfekt funktioniert. Aktuell ist das Adapter extrem fehlerbehaftet, ständig Verbindungsabbruch und ein löschen von Fehlercodes bei einem alten Mazda 6 klappt auch nicht mehr. Hat alles mal tadellos funktioniert. Heute würde ich das Produkt in Anbetracht der Probleme nicht mehr kaufen. Sehr schade, aber hier sind die Softwareentwickler über ihr Ziel hinaus geschossen…
