Works OK but thinks it’s the wrong time
Since the last update the app thinks it’s 2 hours later than the actual time (and the wall controller is correct). Makes it hard to set a time to go off, when you have no idea what time it thinks it is!
ETA: Tried the fix suggested by the developers, didn’t work. Wall controller shows the correct time, app thinks it’s an hour earlier. Looking at recent reviews this is a common problem, so why isn’t there a fix yet?
Unreliable
I would give this zero stars if I could. The app seldom shows accurate information about my Infinity thermostat. I have contacted Carrier’s tech support numerous times but they have no solutions to fix the inconsistencies the app shows vs what my thermostat shows. The last tech I talked to told me my 8 year old thermostat was too old and the app didn’t support it. WTH? If this app doesn’t support 8-year old products then give customers an app that does. This is not customer support or customer service.
Infiniti thermostat is terrible
It loses connection with our wireless network every day or so and for the last 36 hours, I haven’t been able to talk to it remotely at all. Carrier doesn’t respond to my complaints other than to say the routing my concern to the appropriate department. But nothing ever gets done I do not recommend, Infiniti or Carrier
Carrier Home AP
Great information when it works. Unit is not always accessible for to bring offline. This is not an issue with my internet service but the APs ability to connect
Time wrong
Limited usefulness. Time is consistently a couple hours off. Hard to change settings without knowing where it is in the schedule. Thermostat time is correct. Only app is wrong. On edit: Sent screenshot per your request. This is not complicated. Wall unit time is correct. App time is not. Numerous resets change nothing. Neighbor with identical thermostat and app has same issue. Also reported in several app reviews.
Doesnt update temp - Cant trust settings
Have to force close apo and reopen to get it to update the current temp and settings - no way to tell if its showing old cached settings or current

My two units are about three years old. The smaller unit that cools my bedrooms has stopped working. It also disconnected from my wi-fi. The service rep came out and said the electronic board overheated and the unit shut down. He couldn’t get it to reset and told me he called Carrier technical support and has not heard back from them. I am glad that I have two units so I am hopeful that the second unit keeps working. It is 116 degrees outside. These are air conditioners so I would think that they would be built to work in the heat!!!
I’m not very pleased with this situation.
App shows wrong time
The app says “The current date and time on this wall controller is [today] at 11:20 AM” the actual time according to reality and the controller itself is 8:48 AM. This is a really buggy app.
Truly one of the worst apps of all time
It constantly breaks in new ways: logging you out and refusing to recognize your password; losing the connection to your furnace/AC until you manually redo it all…only to have that happen again. The newest glitch is that it demands my home address, but doesn’t “recognize” it — or any address I enter at all. Which means I can’t hit “Continue” to go to the controls. I can only logout — that’s literally it. So the app is once again completely broken and unusable.
EDIT: after months and months of updates, these problems persist! Truly a terrible app, which keeps *forgetting* its connection to my system, as many others have also found. Between major glitches and failures, the app is a little sluggish to update the HVAC status, but it’s OK. But how can I recommend it when it simply fails so, so often, in ways that require a full manual reset (rescanning the QR code, etc.)?
Time is not showing correctly in the app.
Don’t know what has changed but at least 1 of my 4 units shows the wrong time on the app, but the wall controller is correct.
