Really feeling the improvement this season. Carv really helps you understand your own mechanics and how to improve. I love all the positive reinforcement that Carv gives you especially with the awesome new adaptive features that give you tips as you ski. Love it love it love it !

As an early adapter of Carv, I have to say I was impressed when it first came out. Seeing how far the app has come continues to impress me. It has solid development, I encounter zero defects. As a developer myself, I can really appreciate the hard work that has gone into the app and the entire experience. The telemetry from the mountains, the GPS, the hardware. I've always been an early adopter of gadgets and I've always paid for it with the agony of "being first"... that does not happen with Carv. It worked, and worked well, and still works well after a few years. I hope this drive to be excellent never diminishes. I would love to see more "smart gear" from this company outside of skiing. This level of quality is unprecedented in the app, IoT, & accessory world. I'll buy whatever you're making! Kudos to the team at Carv!

I love Carv . It has a lot of good tools and is easy to use. Nothing helps you improve faster than immediate feedback. Highly recommended!

I’m a level 2 CSIA instructor but I stopped teaching this year. My day job got too intense and now I am not in the hill as many days. I’m not part of staff anymore so I don’t get to train with the other instructors. I was a bit skeptical until I talked to someone who had already been using Carve for 2 years. Now that I have it I really like the real time feedback and the way I can choose how to use it, for training or a free ski. When my real time ski IQ starts to drop, I know I’m getting tired and it’s time to call it a day. I’m now doing more turns on each run and I’m getting a real good workout while improving my skills. Used it four times now with three different skis and the type of ski really affects how I ski. One ski is a carving ski (74 mm underfoot); one is a powder ski (106 mm underfoot); and the third one is an all mountain ski (89 mm underfoot). Would be nice to save a bunch of skis in the app and select the ones I am using that day. This would help to understand the data better because I definitely carve better on the carving skis.

I have been skiing for almost 50 years. I would classify myself as an intermediate to advanced skier - I have skied all around the world and can ski any run - some better than others 😎. I received Carv as a Christmas gift and I can’t believe how much my skiing has improved and how much more I love the sport. I would recommend this to anyone who loves the slopes and wants to enjoy it more. As well, any questions or request have been answered by the folks at Carv. It has been a few years since I wrote my original review. Since then our skiing and enjoyment of skiing has grown each time we are out. We are in our mid-60’s and plan to ski as long as we can. Carv is an amazing tool. My wife and I have learned so much - she doesn’t have carv, I just pass the lessons and pointers on to her - we were just mentioning on the lift today how much we love the sport now - not just our love, but our confidence to ski any runs in any conditions. We have now bought a small condo at our local ski hill - Mont Tremblant - and are thoroughly enjoying. I am lucky enough to be grand fathered on the subscription as I got it right at the beginning but, knowing what I know now I would happily pay the subscription fee every year - it is inconsequential to the total cost of skiing, especially compared to the joy it has brought us!

The immediate feedback is great. It does take a few runs to start to implement the instructions but when you you do the feeling is excellent. If you want to get better, Carv is a must buy.

I loved Carv until this “segments” update. I suppose it’s a nice feature, but it completely screwed up my data from this season. I don’t understand how different days can show up on different devices and some on neither. Kind of makes progress difficult to track or trust validity. My trust has been shaken.
