Great auction site but be aware that depending on the seller you can end up pating up to €60 in custom and excise fees on top of the bid price

If you run into trouble with these guys, you’re not getting your money back. They say your money is safe but they keep it. I bought a camera lens. I got a box of junk and I still have my money.

Thought it would be a great place to get a genuine bargain after seeing the app and that they had experts reviewing the items. First item was a watch which was after inspection a mix of different parts and badly reassembled. It arrived whilst I was away and they would not entertain my refund. Second purchase was an autograph. Looked into the seal and authentication and it transpired that the seal is questionable for all this persons memorabilia. Obviously the items are not authenticated and I don’t wish to waste my hard earned money on false goods.

I had a bid earlier today on this watch… minutes to go I received notice I was outbid… so I re entered site to find I was locked out both on my phone and I pad…. Site re activated after bidding closed … the term oops something went wrong is not acceptable and leaves a very bad taste not to use site again…. As I work for DATA PROTECTION IRELAND who incidentally looks after All matters Europe I have asked my office to investigate this matter. Regards Paul foster Cc do/Dublin office

Catawiki won’t refund my money even though I never received my item. The seller has agreed to full refund but Catawiki won’t give it back. Stay away from this company

Sold more than 6 objects and they did not paid to me after 1 month , sellers paid after 2 days and Catawiki has my money and they not reply because customer Service is not working.

Unable to verify phone number, cannot create a functional account.

Bought two rings they are tiny photos made them look much bigger ripped off
