CHEF iQ

Love the thermometer probe. Our burgers, steaks and pork tenderloins all cook without worrying about timing the cook. That part I really like. I also like the Apple watch integration. Not having to be near my food constantly as it cooks is great. It lets me know when things need to be done (flip, for instance) and when the food needs to come off the heat. Now, the app. For some reason, it wont quit notifying me that my cook is done. Days later, I am getting notifications. I dismiss the app. Still get notifications. I would think that after I tell the app my cook is finished, and turn OFF the hub, it would stop. But it just keep pestering me. Today is Sat. I just got a notification to remove my food for the burgers I cooked on Wed. They need to fix this. Annoying. The other issue: I want to bulk delete the notifications. No option for that. For an app that is notifcation-happy, I should be able to easily get rid of the large number I have in my system.

Overly complicated. App can’t find my probes fresh out of the box and charging. I’ll give it a couple tries, but this thing might get hauled back to Costco.

Apparently only works with wifi. Why not with just Bluetooth? Sure it would have limits, but could be used when camping and when wifi is down. Back to Costco it goes.

The temperature probe setup experience was exemplary and flawless! The device gives not only good visual cues but also verbal cues. Throughout the setup, there were short videos that guided the setup and explained the use of the devices. I’m impressed so far.

Super bummer. Please make them work better

I cook to a specific temperature, you make it very difficult to do that, I may be returning this product to the store

Have to delete and reload , then wants way too much info and must verify the e mail! to simply link Bluetooth a thermometer to my phone, should be as simple as adding a speaker ! Then the verify e mails Never come thru! Maddening. It’s going back

I recently purchased the CHEF iQ Thermostat from Costco, and while the device itself has an appealing design and seemed promising, my experience was ultimately disappointing due to the app. **Device Design and Features:** The thermostat itself looks good and has a sleek, modern design. It promises a range of smart features that should make managing home temperatures convenient and efficient. **App Experience:** Unfortunately, the accompanying app is a significant letdown. It's not user-friendly at all. The interface is confusing, making it difficult to navigate and utilize the thermostat's features effectively. Basic functions that should be straightforward are overly complicated, and the app frequently crashes or lags. **Overall Impression:** Despite the attractive design of the thermostat, the poor app experience makes it almost unusable. Given these issues, I decided to return the unit the next day. I cannot recommend the CHEF iQ Thermostat until there are substantial improvements to the app. --- I hope this review captures your experience accurately! Let me know if you’d like any changes.

Dicen que el matrimonio entra por la cocina, pues estoy feliz mente casada por la olla, es ESPECTACULAR, me encanta, tantas recetas, la app, la explicación el resultado, TODO. Yo nunca he sido muy diestra para la cocina, y ahora parezco toda una chef, a quien haya inventado esto tiene todo mis respeto, y le agradezco que infinitamente. Dios lo bendiga.

It’s a shame that this Bluetooth and WiFi thermometer just falls flat when it comes to software. No Apple Watch compatibility No Lock Screen widget No Dynamic Island compatibility All 3 of those features run great on your competitors meaters so why can’t you and it would be the perfect thermometer.
