Challenge Your Co-Workers!

Veröffentlicht von: Count It Labs

Beschreibung

The Count. It iOS app connects directly to the Count. It platform, allowing anyone with an iPhone to join their Count.It-powered company wellness challenge. Download the app, and monitor your physical activity level vs. your company average.
METRICS: Once connected, the Count. It app will access activity data tracked in Apple Health . The app sends this data to Count. It, which calculates your Count. It score, and places you on a social leaderboard with your co-workers.
COUNT.IT SCORE: Your Count. It score is calculated based on your physical activity. The Count. It system tracks steps and cycling miles, and converts these to single, simple score. For reference, 10,000 steps is equivalent to a Count. It score of 100.

Terrible user interface

My company is using this app for a step challenge. What an awful experience. There are phantom points awarded, sync issues, and seemingly no way to troubleshoot issues. The help feature is worthless too.

It’s ok, but buggy.

First off it does what it says, it records your steps, adds points for other exercises when enabled, and groups you when appropriate. It also doesn’t have any horrible ads infiltrating your application. That being said, a few times a year you’ll have to uninstall/reinstall because you can’t login. You get stuck on the login page and face a login loop. Only fix it’s what I said. Every Friday you get an email saying you’ve done nothing even though you’re recording steps. I’ve told this to them and was told “oh just ignore that.” Ok I’ll ignore it but it’s been happening for years, thanks though. Time zones have an advantage always. West coast sees where you finish the day, then has the ability to get just above that when you’re “competing.” You constantly have to “refresh” your data to get it to pull it in from your sync source. Overall it’s not terrible, but these issues are a big annoyance.

App will work on my 12 but not my iPhone 14+. I have tried uninstalling and restalling app. Still get a white screen after I enter my name.

Can’t connect to Apple Health

When I try, I get directed to the AppStore or when I try the way on the help page, I get an error message. Health app says I’m sharing with Count.it so I don’t know what’s wrong.

Syncing is horrible

My first time using as part of a step challenge. It seems that the challenge is that this app can not efficiently sync to the Health app, in my case. It cheated me out of four thousand steps yesterday. This is disappointing and discouraging especially when you work so hard to make it to the top of the leaderboard to see that you are not. They need to work on fixing this. Not sure if the syncing problem is only with the Health app but again discouraging.

Loads slow like molasses

Wow, since the update I really appreciate how fast it USED to be. If I didn’t have to have it to earn points at work I would not use it.

Horrible program

The Count. It app seemed to be a unique platform for movement and motivation. As the Wellness Coordinator of our Employee Wellness Program, I was trying to set up a motivational movement challenge that was different than the typical walking challenge. I researched different programs and Count. It seemed like the perfect set-up. There seemed to be many attractive functions such as group journeys, mini-challenges, encouragement of different forms of exercise and the points system. Before I decided on buying into Count. It, I had scheduled 2 short info sessions with Oliver (the owner and creator of Count.It). Our first session was about 15 minutes long, where he provided a brief overview of the program. Once I decided to move forward with purchasing the program for our challenge, I set up a second info session so that I could ask more detailed questions. This lasted about 20 minutes long. Oliver was helpful, although he moved very fast and at times acted as if I was inconveniencing him and wasting his time. He kept referring me back to specific articles that I had already read through on the website, which clearly were not completely helpful in answering my questions, or else I wouldn’t have requested another info session with him. The week before our challenge was supposed to start, I set up a final info session with him (this was the third). I wanted to make sure I had a clear understanding of how the program worked since I had never used it before, so that if a participant had a question, I could help. I just wanted this to be a success for our company so that we could promote and continue utilizing Count. It for future challenges. Note: Scheduling a session with Oliver is a free tool and totally accessible to all consumers from the main website. During this third and final brief Q&A session is when things started to go really left with Count. It (especially Oliver). We were on a zoom; he was clearly very annoyed to be sitting with me again. I would ask a question; he would answer it with step-by-step instructions in under 5 seconds – I wasn’t able to pick up anything. I asked him to slow down, and he snapped. Again, he referred me to the articles that he had already referred me to and that I had already read over multiple times. He told me he is one of a very small team and that these info sessions are not intended to be utilized the way I was utilizing them. He told me about the $99 info session that I should have seen and purchased on the website.

Not very Good

Basically this app collects your data for workouts either manually or through your phone data and then adds your score up. Should be pretty straightforward, right? The sync is hit or miss and the leaderboard hardly updates and I really don’t think it accurate. Overall two thumbs down.

Not accurate

It's logging 50% of my steps from the Apple Health app. Pretty terrible especially if meant for competition.

Terrible Health App integration

GSChandler on

Only picks up about 2/3rds of your totally daily steps...if you’re lucky. Some days, none at all. Developer’s solution? Delete and reinstall app, but even then, a lot of steps are “left on the table” and not accounted for. Also, how lame is it that we have do that remedy daily? Very! Too bad, since this is the app chosen to manage a corporate movement challenge, and leaves some screaming for a recount! Tapping out in this one.
