I’ve been using DayOne for mor ethan 5 years and it is the only journaling app that sticks with me since my younger day efforts of writing a journal. I love how it brings back memories on what happened years back on the same date, and it has many features that enable us to not only write about our day (however short or long we want), put pics and videos, and recall them in different ways. Highly recommended.
The app froze after going through my previous entry. No way to reset or recover.
Day one has been my daily go to for jotting down everything. I love that i can sync it to all my devices so I can pick up from where I left of no matter where I am.
Highly recommended for those who love to journaling. Been using on my iPhone (iPhone 15 Pro Max), iPad (iPad mini 6) and Mac (iMac and MacBook Air), I find Day One extremely helpful and useful. I’m able to track all my moments both from the past and present — securely and privately besides, it’s better than posting on social media (Facebook for example). The good side, is that Day One Premium is worth it because I’m also supporting the developers as well. From, Muhammad Faezin Proud Day One Premium subscriber
I tried several apps before choosing DayOne as my daily digital journal. What I like is that the app has a strong track record across many years, including a focus on stability and privacy. It also works across multiple devices including my iPad and iMac and synchronised content seamlessly. I also enjoy the in-built templates and the possibility to have daily reminders. It’s a flexible journal but also provides tips to help you along your journey.
Day one is a must have all for everyone!
I am not sure why from time to time the dev team wants to change things even when they are not broken. In the new timeline view, when there are 3 or less photos in the entry, their thumbnails are displayed in a diagonal way that obscures the photos below. I am really not sure why this is the way. Just show the photos side by side in a collage that allows as many thumbnails to be seen as possible. Please just stick to what works. I am rooting for this app to remain competitive after iOS comes with its own native journaling app. Don’t make it any harder for users to be pleased.
Been using DayOne on and off for awhile now. It’s only recently when I want to try journaling again for personal reasons. If not for the lack of a habit and mood tracker, otherwise, it’ll be perfect and the only journal app I’ll be using. On that note, support for this app seems almost non existent. I sent an email last week and never got a reply
