I‘m learning German and this is one of my best translator apps

I’m not sure why an apps like this asking for local access otherwise I can’t use it. Writing this review and uninstalling it. Thanks for nothing.

It gives you a complete reference from the word translation and the real usage in any different context. Please improve the UI/UX to make it more interesting.

Love it! I use the german-french because i need to boost my vocab on those two. Every word comes with examples of sentences from webs also (can’t do this if we are offline). Just add more words to the offline version and Linguee will be fine. C’est magnifique!!!

Keeps me telling I'm not connected to the internet though I am connected to the internet; cannot download dictionaries via mobile data

I really like this application and it helps me a lot in my German learnings. But man, it hangs all the time! I typically switch between Linguee and other apps on my iPad when I translate something: I switch to Linguee, look for a word, switch to another app, then switch back to Linguee in a minute. And here it tends to hang for 10-20 seconds, completely unresponsive. It happens 4 times out of 5 for me. It makes me so angry! Yes, I can just stop using it and look for another dictionary. But if only the app didn't hang it would have been my dictionary of choice.

Good translations, but no dark mode makes it hard for the eyes.

Eigentlich ist das die beste Übersetzungsapp, aber das andauernde Abstürzen macht es wirklich nur noch anstrengend.
