After being professionally fitted 🤔Useless for a 2 way conversation!!

This has been the worst bit of tech I have ever bought. It is a shame as it was highly recommended to me by the installer!

Installed now for 12 months and has broken at least a dozen times. Unit has been replaced already but still breaking down and often not connecting to the Internet. I’ve had to jump my own wall over my gate on numerous occasions as the system appears temperamental.

I’ve been living with this equipment for the last five months and I’m considering replacing it, it’s so slow with the notifications to my phone that the caller has gone by the time you receive it (usually around 10 minutes after the call). My installer has told me that it could be a slow internet connection but it happens when I have a fast 5g connection in other areas so it has to be a flaw in the system. The operation of the gate from the unit in house and the phone app is fine.

My DoorBird worked very well at first, but after a few months stopped sending messages through to my phone, so I couldn’t hear it. Now it doesn’t work at all. An electrician couldn’t fix it, and I called the manufacturers who promised to come and service it, but never turned up. I’m fed up.

Expensive. Basic package doesn’t include a door chime in the house. (Purely relies on your phone). Quite a long delay between someone ringing the doorbell and the notification coming thru. In most instances, when remote from the house the camera and talk feature doesn’t connect. Having had this for almost 3 years I’ve never managed to have a discussion on the system while someone’s at the door and I am elsewhere.

I’ve been evangelical about this app & the DoorBird itself for many years now, but would point out one thing the app is missing CarPlay control I have a driveway gate which is connected via a module & would find it really handy to have control from CarPlay, without having to open up the phone & navigate to this app Come on guys & add it. I’ll return & add a higher rating

Ringing on the phone too feeble

Hardly ever works on cellular - only the LAN - unless you reset every few days Support is useless - literally like writing to a pen friend over years. Latest complaint isn three weeks off emails back and forth with gaps of 3-4 days Useless
