The app and thermostat are pretty easy to operate. However I have Hold Duration set to “Until You Change It” and it still changes on its own. This is beyond aggravating. I want it to let me control it 100%. It seems to be trying to guess my schedule. I like to turn down the temp about an hour before I go to bed and raise it a few degrees once I wake up. My schedules are not always the same so often times I wake up early on my days off because the house it too warm. Also, I have 2 additional temperature sensors in the house. I wish it had an option to set thermostat to operate off of one of the additional sensors at the push of a button instead of only on schedules.

The bill was the highest ever ever since we started ecobee. More than doubled. The apps good not the price anymore

This is our first smart thermostat. Easy to use and intuitive .

Don’t know when this began but I have noticed that the app indicates “fan is running” when it isn’t. Tapping the arrow link does nothing. In general the firmware and app have lots of bugs that never get fixed.

Not happy with the app, it’s adjusting the temperature to 8F lower at night itself. I don’t know what to do, the support doesn’t exist and it’s a simply a frustration. Don’t know how would I feel waking up at 65 when the autumn will be here. Not happy with the Ecobee app.

It’s insane I can’t return this thing YOU changed it so I have to click x over buying something before I can use CORE FUNCTIONALITY Don’t worry buddy, legislation is catching up with this shady business. I can’t wait until the “warranty period” resets when you make core usability changes. It’s coming Oh, and “until I change it” means UNTIL I FN CHANGE IT

It’s so easy to operate and so very convenient. I can just sit in my chair and press buttons on my phone and presto my air conditioner is working.

Constantly get errors trying to change the temp. The app is incredibly buggy and co fusing designed.

I paid alredy $239 on thermostat, why you push ads to my app? Shame !

The Ecobee app makes it super easy to control my thermostat and I could never go back to a conventional thermostat. However, I find it too cumbersome to set it to “Away” or “Home” from the app. To do so, you need to: -Open the app -select “More” -select the bottom right icon -select “set manual hold” -select “away for now” It’s essentially 4 button presses for what could be solved with a quick toggle in the app, or on the widget.
