Love Etymonline. Good stuff, a must have app for everyone who loves to go deeper with words and their meaning. I enjoyed it more as I use it together with Webster’s 1913.

A very wide vocabulary with almost every word’s etymology. It’s user friendly, I love it. Moreover, it’s the only Etymology app available online at the best of my knowledge.

I love this app for preparing to give discourses or lectures. When I want to drill down on a point, sometimes it’s beneficial to use a root meaning of where the word came from. By far one of the best tools I’ve stumbled across for reference and research.

My job involved arranging words, I have always loved word history. I’ve been using Etymology Online for a long time, well before the app came out. The site has given me hours of enjoyment; the app just makes it easier to use the resource.

I have not looked up a word that I did not find - which has been the case with some dictionary apps. I mostly use this for words in the KJV Bible, to help get a better understanding of a word, and this app is great for that. It also keeps a history of the words I have searched.
