The app é molto bem

There’s no doubt this app is fantastic and incredibly well-designed. The only problem is that in order to remove the ads, you need to pay a monthly subscription instead of a one-time payment. I am frankly sick and fed up with the subscription system; it makes me feel that I never end up owning what I pay for. Apart from that, I would love for the developer to develop a Spanish etymology app as well.

As an English teacher, I suppose I have a natural passion for words, but this little app continues to thrill me. It’s wonderful. I hate with an absolute vengeance annual subscriptions but I think I’m about to pay for this - less than £8.00/year. It’s worth it.

If you want a dictionary with an etymological kick. This is the app to have.

Ordinary dictionaries just don’t do it. This app takes one back to ideas of how the word may have been formed. To say it is often revelatory would be a typically English understatement.

Now crashes on immediately trying to launch the app. This is only since updated to recent version 2.3. I am not happy, since I have only just payed for an annual subscription of £7.99. I’m really annoyed about this, as I was using this app everyday until this happened. Please get this problem sorted fast. Other than this, it is a brilliant tool to have when working. However, very unhappy customer at the moment due to the current problem I have at the moment, and of which I have just explained. 16/05/2022. Your latest edited version 2.3.2 has now got me back up and running. Brilliant app this! Thanks for the speedy support and remedy. Great service, and keep up the good work guys!

extremely valuable but very american. british english nuances that have flourished since the great divergence sometimes missed.

I used to always use etymology dictionary from the beginning, now in app. Absolutely love it! I can’t imagine reading my study material without it now. Simple and all encompassing at the same time. I’m a grateful customer
