Evo is amazing. It's the perfect solution for those of us in Vancouver who rely on public transportation. I am so grateful for Evo!!

The overall app should work a lot better than it does. I have had multiple episodes of walking to a booked Evo marked on the map, only to reach the marker and there is no car. I also had a bug where everytime I opened the app my mobile data would stop working, so I could not either unlock the car or end a trip. Which was very frustrating. I also find ending the trip difficult sometimes. It is not always clear if the car is on or off. Thanks Tom

Such a great app and a way to have a car without paying such high fees with a rental! Great service too when I had troubles with the car!

Evo had the potential to be great, but as with all great ideas someone at the top gets greedy. There are specific prices you pay for the evo time, for eg. $16.99 per hour maximum. Except you also get charged a dollar for every usage and there’s taxes on top. So an hour is actually $21. Also the app continually glitches. I’ve been sent to cars that aren't even in the area they say they are. I have been locked out of my car on stop overs with my belongings in the trunk (always take the key) and in general, it’s not much cheaper than Uber now a days and you don’t have the hassle of walking to the car and parking up.

No idea if it’s any good as it crashes during the selfie part of the registration. Tried on wife’s phone: same effect.

Laggy and sometimes doesn’t work altogether. Honestly this app is throwing a good business right under the bus. Needs to either revert back to the old app or sort out these awful bugs

Back in the day I gave this company my email address and a created a password. That was all I did. No credit card, no house address, license, record check… just my email address and a password. That was 2019. Never used EVO CAR SHARE. 2022 I emailed them to have my account deleted (if I even had one). The reply was that I owed then $4.48 as an annual fee. Until I paid them they wouldn’t delete my account, and would add $2 every year. Do you know why I’m not longer an EVO CARSHARE member? Because I contacted Ad Standards Canada, informing them that a company was acting unethically by hiding FEES under the guise of a ‘FREE’ membership. I’m no longer a member because the DEI Woke teenagers working at EVO needed to hear it from an office in Ottawa that $2/year is not free, and that false advertising is NOT FAIR. Evo lost. I won.
