Expenses: Spending Tracker

Really like this app! My partner and I both subscribed and share a ledger. Super easy to use. The only thing we miss is seeing who paid for what in shared mode — without that it’s tough to figure out the final balance between us (who owes who). Adding this would make the app perfect. Thanks a lot!

I love this app but transaction import in shortcut it’s not working anymore

Using this app for almost like two months and it’s been great. It’s easy to put the data export snd import and also it has a pending transaction feature which pretty nice. Awesome app to manage expenses. iCloud share works perfectly.

Shortcut integration is what really makes the app stick for me, makes tracking expenses using Apple Pay a breeze

One time purchase - you get access to everything. Very easy to use, sleak design, can analyze trends and determine your spending habits, but best of all , their customer support team responds really fast!! (Almost impossible to find nowadays)

I have used Expenses for almost three years; I paid for it for the full features, which really meet all my needs. It accidentally stopped working this month, and CS responded promptly and solved the problem. This service is worth buying and enjoying the full features!

I am just starting to use this. Is there a field where you can put in who you paid money to? With that, you can review, this establishment got paid by this amount at the end of the week, month or year. I know there are categories, but under food as example, can be multiple establishments.

Update: This app is extremely easy to setup and use and even has a Vision Pro app (included in the very low price!) In a very short order, I HIGHLY recommend this app. At first, I tried out the limited free version and found that there was an issue with importing CSV from another app. I wasn’t sure if it was because the free trial didn’t support that. I sent a support question and got a very prompt response from Hiroki. He asked me to send the CSV file to see what the problem is. I did that and he replied with a fix. (to be honest I really didn’t understand other than it was a format issue, but am confident that what he sent me would have worked. (It was too much for this small brain to comprehend lol). In spite of this, I purchased the Pro version to support the excellent support from the developer. I will work around the CSV issue and give the app a workout. I don’t know if it will work for you but for a very reasonable onetime price you should give it a try.

I have been using Expenses on Mac, iPad and iPhone for the past year. I use it mainly to track my travel expenses. It's one of the few (or only?) apps that support all Apple platforms (except Watch OS). The iCloud data backup and syncing across all my devices is very useful indeed. Although there isn’t a version available for the Apple Watch, I found out that I can run shortcuts on my Apple Watch to add expenses directly without using my phone, which is really handy! The Expenses app has been working very well for me. The app design is clean, functional and easy to use. The iCloud sync support is nice. The tech support is excellent. I had occasions to request assistance from Support, and the responses were always prompt and helpful. The developer is also very good at reviewing new feature requests, and quick to implement them. Thank you!

I’ve been using this app for a few years now to track all of the expenses that my husband and I spend - no more spreadsheets or budgets, it’s just a super easy way to see who’s spending what so we can true it up every so often. I had a minor issue today when an update seemingly lost my info and I emailed and they literally responded within 20 minutes and it was resolved immediately. Highly recommend!
