FLIR ONE

I’ve been using for more than 7 years. I really like it and very usefule! However since a previous update some function are missing! I really miss “Lock span” and “Time lapse” function. I would highly appreciate if you could put these functions back! These are necessary for my job!

I use the app with One Pro and it has all the features I need for my hobby / home thermal measurements. Startup is a bit slow but acceptable. The auto / manual thermal scale, the auto / manual measurement points (max 3) are very nice features and the app even supports editing these after capture! The only thing I miss is the possibility to save the thermal scale (what temperatures the colors represent) to the image. I need to do a screenshot for that. Considering that the scale can be set to anything, without this the saved image does not really make much sense just a rainbow image. Please Flir add this feature to the app!

I have a gen 1 Flir one for the iPhone 5 and it works well with app version 3.2.8 on my old iPhone, but I don’t use that phone for anything else and wanted to use the Flir on my current iPhone with a lightning extension cable (which is of good quality btw. Works with other accessories) and it does not show the thermal image. Interestingly, the app happily reports that a Flir one is connected in the menu, battery is at 100%, but there is no picture just shows an animation how to plug in and switch on the Flir one.

Gen1 Camera not working since app update. Please fix it!

First of all thanks for this awesome thermal cam I love it. But sometimes its just freeze out, and on my daily phone 5S its run laggish a little bit. Can you guys unlock more power from this cam I mean more refresh frequency, or more detailed picture? I know there is a resolution limit but maybe this hardver can more. Thanks for the future suppurt, I hope there will be updates! Best regards! Milan

I have had a Flir 1 for years and just recently they have added Bluetooth and other permissions that make the 4-5 year old hardware unusable. I hate the new app updates.

It was very easy to connect to my FLIR One Edge Pro, but sometimes the Wi-Fi fails to connect or drops out which is frustrating. The app makes it easy to precisely measure hot and cold extremes (which I use to monitor my lizard enclosure) and relative temperature gradients (for home maintenance such as finding leaks and poor installation). I’ve found the absolute temperature measurements to be fairly accurate.

Hi guys! I have a Flir one edge and am wondering if you have plans for updating the app to allow the edge to stream video through usb c to lower latency?

This app needs to be fixed. It will freeze during viewing and then the scale will be changed and the colors will change because of some adjustment it’s doing. It really is completely worthless now. Customers beware. Also they need to provide a link to older versions. It was much better. I’m posting this on YouTube so buyers can avoid.
