Bought a few of these cameras. Can’t even set it up - guidance is bad and no help anywhere. Wasted money on buying this product

I bought the A9 WiFi mini cam and this app. FTYCamPro is the app we are to use to control the cam, supposedly. The problem with this app is you can only view and not control the cam because the PTZ does not work. I doubt this FTYCamPro is the app built by the manufacturer of the A9 mini cam, I believe they just grab an app randomly as long as it connects with the cam resulting in an awful user experience. No point in having an app thaf does not give you PTZ control. Very disappointed!

Always lost connection and have to set all over again. update on 22/01/2023, cannot connect using mobile data.

The camera itself functions well, but the app is problematic and frustrating to use. Connecting the camera is a lengthy and difficult process, and once you succeed, the app begins bombarding your phone with spam messages and junk texts. It also sends numerous links, which raises significant privacy concerns. Using this camera in your home is not safe, as it could compromise your privacy. Be especially cautious to protect your phone from potential hacking.

I agree with the other reviewer. I feel like I have been ripped off. Please do not buy these cameras. You will regret it. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

Got this as a Christmas gift and no matter how I try it won’t connect to the app. Instructions are very vague. Tried to contact seller and they’re no longer available on Amazon. I can’t even leave a review there.

There are no published privacy practices when you click the link, and they won’t let you activate the camera without providing your location, which is u necessary for the application. Frustrated that I wasted all this money for these cameras that I won’t be using.

Bought it without reading reviews. Instructions are non-existent! I am so sorry I bought this brand, Spy Focus. Some information is in Chinese. Don’t waste your money.
