Missing some pretty basic plants, button to request a plant results in generic “something went wrong” error message. Cool idea, poor execution.
Won’t load my location, no details on any of the plants I’ve planted. Lacking a lot of features. Great idea though
The app doesn’t work.
I have been looking for an app that was going to help me organise and care for my garden. After sorting through MANY apps, I saw this one and thought it looked great. However after downloading it I quickly discovered that nearly every button I pressed, I would receive a “something went wrong” banner, and many of the plant varieties I have in my Australian garden are not available yet. The location for the weather also wouldn’t work for me… just kept spinning with nothing happening. Disappointing as I really wanted to live this app, it shows a lot of potential.
App is not detecting my location and the plant with details are extremely limited. Needs bug fixes and updates!
- weather - temp - watering schedules Literally nothing works when I click it and it has super limited library of plant species
The concept is great but there isn't much in the database. Highly common plants such as peace lily aren't even in there. The weather function doesn't work. It's like a shell of a great idea but they never followed through.
This is a great idea for an app! The user experience is really nice, and the concepts are there, however there’s still a lot to be done to get this app to a good & ready to use format! However not all plants show up in the encyclopaedia, and as a newbie to gardening, searching and filtering plants based on their scientific names is difficult. It would be great to see visuals of all, and not just some of the plants listed (and I acknowledge that’s easier said than done!). Requesting care information on plants results in bugs and error messages, and basic household plants don’t seem to have their care information included as yet. It would also be great to request new plant types in the system instead of linking to a support email! I’ve deleted the app for now, but I’m so excited to see where this app ends up a few years from now.
Looks good but is pretty useless. Just about every single plant you try to enter comes up with a “No info available on this plant - We are working to provide you with quality information on this plant!” I have a few quite common flowers in my small garden like lavender, forget-me-nots, California poppies, fuchsias, and assorted succulents and no info is available on ANY of these plants, which renders the app useless. And what info IS available on a few dozen plants looks like it was added in alphabetical order - all the plants that can info seem to begin with the letter “A”, and is poorly explained, although prettily laid out. What does “low fertilisation” mean? Am I supposed to fertilise it or not? What does “average watering” mean? Am I meant to water it daily or three times a week or what? Useless app, don’t recommend getting it at all.
