Me parece muy estupido que uno tiene q farmear un BUEN de horas como para que en primera, no puedes cambiar la opción de el arma que eliges sin perder la senda, ahora, que sean 2 a fuerzas para q obtengas el arma que realmente quieres también es absurdo, más que nada para la gente f2p que no trabaja un chingo (soy testigo por lo pobre q soy tmb pa meterme una recarga de protos) pero ps ojalá lo mejoren

I love when people cry about a fictional word being different then the real word. Also its a Chinese company and majority of the player base is from Asia where POC doesnt sell well. At the and of the day hoyo will please the audience that makes them the big money and not the small 5% that cries on the internet when someone is not black.

If you insist that your game is a work of fiction, don’t use real life cultures as inspiration, simple as that. You can’t nitpick and only use aspects you find “appropriate” or “beautiful”, while spitting in the face of your fans and hiding behind this apparent Chinese “censorship” that other Chinese companies don’t seem to have an issue with (just look a Bluepoch’s Reverse 1999 for example, strange how a smaller company with limited budget managed to surpass you at cultural representation in just one year). You as a company pride yourself in making a game for people all across the globe, yet your viewpoint on taking pride in one’s heritage and general appearance is pathetic at best and hateful at most. If you wanted a game catering to your own (frankly outdated and racist) beauty standards, you should have stopped at Liyue. You know you seriously need to change your ways when not even the Chinese playerbase (your core supporters) backs you up anymore, boycotting against you and doing everything in their power to wipe your presence off any and all social media platform. Do better.

If you’re going to use POC cultures in your game use them correctly. All of the characters just look white, even the one that was inspired by the supreme Yoruba deity. People have been begging you to make a change for years especially after what you’ve done with Sumeru, so it’s time to actually do something. Diversity is extremely important in your game.
Every time genshin takes inspiration from real life cultures, they go out of their way to represent architecture, food and many other things nicely, yet they draw the line at representing the people. The people that actually play their game. The people that matter the most. People of color do matter too, the disappointment of not seeing their skin color represented is completly valid. Hoyoverse need to do better when it comes to designing characters based on real people or real religion.
This abhorrent behaviour for such a large company to exhibit, and yet they claim they are inclusive but are willing to whitewash a Yoruba deity. It's outrageous that HYV has shown that they did the research to make Natlan and that they know how to do black hairstyles and darker skin tones. Yet they CHOSE to make a character based on Olorun, a Yoruba god, a white man with a messed up design and a misspelled name. How dare you take from our culture and not represent the majority of us?
